The second installment of Mike Burrows and his partner Julia Styles was brilliant , I loved the first book and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this… it was yet again full of twists and turns that keep you guessing where the story was going to go , with a dark side this book just ticks all the right boxes for a thriller / suspense novel , how I found this different was the way the author shows how burrows connects with the victims and the empathy he has for them and the situation they have found themselves in. It brings a certain depth to the story line not found in most detective stories cant wait to see how these two develop as a working partnership.
