Hi Charles! Thank you for connecting! I just launched a podcast with two other author friends. It's Her Rules-Her Rise on YouTube. We're keeping it raw to keep costs down. I'm also working with my husband on our book. He fell 30 ft from a roof in 2019 and survived. There were so many miracles that happened through the entire experience! How about you?
Launching a podcast and writing a book with your husband sounds incredible, and his survival story must be truly inspiring. I’ll definitely check out Her Rules-Her Rise on YouTube.
I’m currently in the middle of revising and editing a draft while juggling a few other unfinished projects I hope to return to soon.
How’s the podcast experience been so far? Are you enjoying the raw format, or do you think you’ll polish it up more down the line?
Thank you for reaching out! I have a story of childhood trauma and resilience that people have been telling me to share for many years. I finally decided to do it after my husband fell 30 ft from a roof and survived. Many miracles later, he's thriving! He suggested that I write my book first and then we write ours together.
Thank you for sharing that, it’s a truly powerful and moving story. Your resilience, and your husband’s as well, is remarkable. Surviving such a fall and then encouraging you to write, there’s something profoundly hopeful in that. I’m glad you’ve decided to put your story into words; writing can be a deeply clarifying and even healing process.
I wrote my first book back in 2007, it was Der nasse Fisch (Babylon Berlin in English), and that journey taught me how stories can carry us through the past in ways we don’t always expect.
When your book is out, I’d love to read it. And if you’d like to send me yours, I’d be happy to share mine in return. Wishing you all the best as you continue writing, it sounds like you have something truly meaningful to share.
