They have made reading more portable. You can take your book anywhere you can take your cell phone. Though, I still enjoy reading and turning pages of a print version from time to time.
Less aware. I think many are more involved with social media platforms than reading books. These days, it's much more difficult to cultivate the love of books in young people when it's competing with all the bells and whistles found on the Internet. I substitute taught a grade 6 English class years ago, and the students' lack of enthusiasm for reading was disheartening. It's a shame.
