My novel is based on true life events and experiences I had with my group of friends as teenagers trying to ‘get in with the in-crowd’ and their parties in South Manchester in 1984. My father died and I met the girl of my dreams that night. Dialogue is pretty accurate, I know what each character would have said, they were, and are real people… Names have been changed to protect the guilty!
