There are a few tips I would give to aspiring authors. Don't compare yourself; you have a unique God-given voice. Also, don't give up. Writing is amazing but tiring at the same time. You must persevere.
If I could tell my younger writing self anything, I would say, "Grow in the gift God gave you. Don't spend so much time chasing other people's purpose. Chase after yours and perfect it.
