      • Probably Rick Riordan, Ellen DeGeneres, and Gail Simone. With Riordan and Ellen, they’re both hysterical and share my sense of humor. And then again with Riordan and Simone, they’re such great writers and I’d love to talk shop with them.

      • I think it encourages people to read more. They can just grab their phone and read for a few minutes and stop. You can read easier and more often because of e-books.

      • The cover is very important. It’s the first thing readers see, so it has to look professional.

As for the title, it needs to relate to your story and your plot.

      • I do. If there’s constructive criticism, I’ll take it and use it to improve. If it’s just someone’s opinion that they didn’t like it, I try not to let it bother me. And good ones are a confidence boost.

      • I’ve always had a big imagination, especially as a kid. I would create my own worlds and go on adventures with my favorite fictional characters. Eventually I came up with characters of my own. I started writing those adventures down when I was fourteen, and I’ve been a writer ever since.

      • First, you have to love what your writing. It makes your book better if you’re passionate about it. You also need to read the type of books that are similar to yours, then you know what works or not. But whatever you write about, there needs to be consistency throughout your book. Narrator voice, dialogue, description, it needs to be the same from start to finish.
