      • Well, sales is the easy answer and that means readership. I do not see the point otherwise. Most people want their characters known and loved as much as you love them.

      • The cover is extremely important because it is often what catches the eye of your potential reader. And I like covers to be meaningful to what the story is about. On title, I like there to be a mysteriousness to it. The best titles are the ones where readers discover the hidden meaning in the story. I like to do that with my work.

      • The "voice" of the work must be appropriate for the genre. Also, the opening has to be very well done to interest the reader to keep reading.
