      • Once I have a title and subtitle I love, then I find it much easier to write the book. The title has to speak to me, as I hope it will speak to others. My publishers, Future Horizons, consult with me when their cover designer is working on the cover, and I really appreciate being asked my opinion before they decide on the final cover art.

      • Seeing how terribly misunderstood and overlooked autistic folk have been, especially late-diagnosed, high-masking adults, BIPOC, and those on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. I started writing when I retired in 2016, and I haven't stopped. It seems there's always another project in the wings, or another story waiting to be told.
