"A political sendup skewers the presidential campaign process."
A Kirkus Review of “2020” describes the novel is an "opus [which] echoes the current state of contemporary unrest in Washington, D.C., and the world at large”, and “an ambitious literary undertaking.”
It says the book is “a unique and humorous political caricature parodying the country’s electoral process, its numerous hypocrisies and mudslinging behaviors, and (if thinly veiled) Donald Trump’s cabinet selection process.“ Kirkus goes on to characterize the novel as a narrative that “more closely resembles a whirlwind kaleidoscopic fever dream than a campaign trail chronology.” It suggest that readers may be “enthralled by Cooper’s creatively inspired grasp on the concept of farcical political lampooning.”
Finally, Kirkus calls "2020" an “eccentric and often hilarious satire”, and concludes that it is "entertainment tailor-made for fans of political fiction who want a fantastical, vividly realized escape from the bizarro reality of contemporary government."

GOODREADS FIVE STAR REVIEWS
"I absolutely loved this book! It was hilarious and at the same time non-heretical. The author did an amazing job portraying a Christ that is non-political in a time when we need a Christ to be involved in our political process. Jesus is not a Republican. Jesus is not a Democrat. Jesus is ... Jesus, and he's got MY vote!" --Pat Gent, Goodreads.com
“A fantastic read!” –-Bob Lynne, Goodreads.com
“The thesis of this book will not be liked by Christians. But, Jesus' actual Followers will love it and be empowered by it!” –-Gary Patton, Goodreads.com
