Very enjoyable, well written short story, not a book length. - Of course I had already figured out what was going to happen in the 2nd book.
This book also shows that the Amish have the same feelings as everyone else -even though they had a great deal harder to stay in friendship and loving one another.

This is the first of the AmIsh Weddng Series. I like Samantha Bayarr's writing style. Her characters have depth and great personalities. Thus the story is fun to read while learning about the Amish lifestyle. My only complaint is that the stories are too short. They just end too soon.

I would have given this book more stars except I felt like it was so short so you would spend more money and buy more books. Whenever this happens I feel cheated. The story was fairly well written and it kept my interest for the whole hour it took to read it. It could have had more depth and it could have been a LOT longer. It should be listed as a novella at the very least. Very disappointed.

This story will grab your attention quickly and leaves you wanting to know how it ends. Each character is wrestling with turning over every aspect of their life to God. This story is so relevant to everyone's daily struggles. I am anxiously waiting for the next book.

Ellie left the community because of unbridled passion between her and Jonas. She left to live with a relative. In the time she was gone, her baby was born. She never told anyone back home about her daughter Katie. When Katie was about 18 months old, Ellie received an invitation to a wedding for her best friend back home, Hannah and ........ Jonas. Ellie decides to go back home. Through the Amish "grape vine", Jonas finds out about Katie. Is Katie really his? Will Jonas and Hannah get married now that Ellie is back? Or will Jonas and Ellie get a second chance at true love? Read Ellie's Homecoming by Samantha Bayarr. It is a must read for those who enjoy Amish romance stories.

Good story line. Ellie who is living in Ohio with her cousins and her 18 month old daughter, hasn't been to her Amish community for over two years. She walked away from Jonas the guy she was supposed to marry. She went on her Rumspringa and then discovered she was pregnant, Jonas told her if she left he would just propose to her best friend Hanna. So Ellie was scared to go home.

Then out of the blue she gets a wedding invitation for Jonas' and Hannah's wedding. Knowing she has time to stop the wedding, she goes to introduce her daughter Kelly to her father.

As always a nice clean romance book with a pull to doing God's will.

Ellie left to go on her rumspringa not long after she and Jonas gave into their one night of passion. They were so in love but her mother agreed with her going out to see what the outside world was like, but Jonas did not want to and he threatened Ellie Heywood marry her friend Hannah if she did not come back within two years. Jonas or her family did not she gave birth to Jonas daughter while she she has been gone Katie is now eighteen months old and looks just like Jonas. She received an invitation to Jonas and Hannah's wedding and decides to go home to her mother's to let Jonas know he has a daughter.
