A fan of medieval Scotland, Connie C. Scharon published her first Scottish Historical Romance in June of 2013. The success of that novel led to the eight book Highland Legends series.

Writing as C.C. Scharon, author Connie C. Scharon has branched out from her romance roots into mystery and suspense with Blood Never Washes Out.

After working for 34 years in the medical field, she wanted to create novels that wove her hospital experiences, visits to the morgue, and crime lab tours into a line of crime-focused novels.

A life long resident of Maryland, Connie is a member of Pennwriters, Romance Writers of America, and Maryland Writers Association.

She has a way of make you feel for the main characters that has you hooked to a story. I would recommend this book to all who like Scottish historical romances.

I was absolutely thrilled to receive this almighty first book of this new series, Tales of the Isles. Written by a completely exciting new author, Connie C. Scharon. With this brilliant adventurous tale in Scotland during the fourteen century. With all its exceedingly brilliant character. Finding it just so hard to put down.

Brianna Blackburn now had been forced to leave. She had been made to leave her family now, to be married to Cade MacLeod. He was known to be the bastard son of the head chieftain MacLeod Clan and would eventually be the head after his death.

Such a brilliant and exciting book this was. With thrilling emotional and suspenseful issues exposed now. I thoroughly enjoyed this most wonderful piece of history of romance in Medieval Scotland.

I loved this book. Another one by the author that is a real page turner and pulls you in starting at page one. I love her ability to tell a good story and keep your interest. Fortunately, I was on vacation while reading this book and did not have to put it down. A really great read!!!

This story had romance, dangerous plots against leaders, suspense, handsome big highlander, jealousy,beautiful kind ladies, and did I mention handsome big highlander?
