First of all, I love the cover. It’s so eye catching and beautiful!
New Bloom is the debut novel by A.E Gamrat. It is a sweet, emotive, coming of age story with a touch of romance.
Gwen has had her life mapped out for her by her parents. Her sheltered existence hasn’t really allowed her to experience the things that other people her age have. She doesn’t like to make waves, so she goes along with it all. She has a lot of expectation and responsibility to burden. Her mother is pretty hard, distant and controlling- which places a strain on their relationship.
Even though she’d attended college, working in her parent’s flower shop is her past present and future. Again, she wasn’t going to rock the boat.
Then Kame comes into her life and has her questioning everything….
What happens? You will have to read the book to discover all the details for yourself. No spoilers from me….
I did have some trouble connecting with Gwen to begin with, and the story was a little slow to get going. But over all it was a nice read!
Thank you, Ms. Gamrat!

NEW BLOOM by A.E. Gamrat is a quick read and is a story about a girl who never questioned things always did what was expected of her but when she starts to question her life. When she decides she will no longer be ruled, she will no longer live her life for her parents then the heartache begins.
The way her mother well lets just say I wanted to smack her down. At least she has her bestie is there to offer support and keep her sane with her antics.
This is a good story but an emotional one. Yes I shed a tear or two and it does end on a cliffhanger.

Don't let this book get by you.. If Your interested in a story that lets you get caught up in it and lose yourself in it for a few hours, get this one.
I got it on a whim, wasn't sure if I'd like it. Let me just say by the end of the 3rd chapter, I knew I'd be buying the 2nd one. The characters are like people I know or have known in the past. Amazing how it felt really familiar to me. I loved it!!!!

New Bloom was a great romance novel about an inspirational young woman just out of college. She is facing real life issues and a mysterious, first love all at once. Reading about the story before it came out, I was not sure how much it would be like other romance stories I've read. It was truly a one-of-a-kind piece. Being unlike other romance novels, I really got into the story. Only taking me TWO days to read the whole thing (which is quick for me), I just could not put it down. The emotions are real as well as the characters. I recommend this story to anyone, but especially young women who need a strong inspirational character such as Gwen. Mrs. Gamrat did a great job on developing an interesting story, shocking characters, and realistic complications. This story hangs with a cliffhanger and I cannot wait until the second book!

It is well written and I did not want to put it down. I can't wait to read more by AE Gamrat.. I'll be waiting so keep writing!

Mother & daughter relationships can be very complicated. Each in it's own way. Yet this one really is heartbreaking. Obviously so much more going on than is understood by anyone. The whole story had me analyzing and speculating. Must read next book in series Now!!!
