The Mentor a very romantic, thoughtful novel. At first I was getting into, but compassion, real insight into the characters was extremely compelling, for me! I didn’t feel cynical about hope and above all, a very happy ending.

The ending and reveal really took me fully by surprise. I didn't expect that at all. Beyond that notation I must say it took me a while to figure out each of the young men in this story, which was I think what was intended. Discovering each as the mentor did.

"Clearly, you are the mentor."

There are so many elements to author Jackson Marsh's novel THE MENTOR OF WILDHILL FARM that make it such a wickedly fun and sexy read that if I had to chose one of these aspects that I liked best was that it was an erotic thriller so unassuming and with an ending so unexpected and beyond my wildest expectations. Writer Camden Stevens, 42 is contacted by the mysterious and wealthy Andrew Brown to be a "mentor" to four young gay men at his remote farmhouse for a week. The four are Gabriel, 20 Dean, 19 Kenny, 19 and Logan, the youngest at 18. The mentoring is not only with their writing techniques but with a lot of sexual experimentation with each other and Camden to enhance their creativity as budding writers. One of the four falls hopelessly in love with Camden and wow this is not a book to be missed, plus add in Jack the farms caretaker employed by Andrew Brown who adds another dimension to the story.
