    I have to admit it took me a little longer to finish this one because Rita's constant running and games go on my last nerve. So 4 instead of 5 stars. But I kept at it and finished the book. I hope Pam and Nate don't go through that because I'm excited for their story.

    I started of order and now I'm back tracking from the beginning. I already read 3 of the Brothers Black and love them so here I am and I'm not disappointed.

This the continued story of the Mairettie and Briggs families which we know from Bobby and Paige story in Legally Bound. Rita is Nate's younger sister. Which starts with all of them meeting at vacation on the island. There is lots of drama and romance. Secrets are unveiled, betrayal and lies are all in the mixed which makes it i oh so good to read because of the writing. This makes me so sorry it took so long to get to Blue Saffire but I am so happy I finally started to binge on her books. My Kindle have never made me so happy to read. I really enjoy this series,

    So I read these out of order, yes I did that. Then I had to go back and read what I missed, I kept bypassing this one ☝🏽 I let reading the reviews detour me ( Rita running) that will not happen again. Marcus was everything!!! His love for Rita, yes she was young and foolish but the way Blue put this together… It irritates me with the lack communication that ppl have in life but that’s just it…LIFE. We all have those moments right. I love all the characters in this series, the alpha males, the head strong women, the parents who still get their freak on. Awesome work Blue!!!!

    I was not feeling this book like I was her others. Legally Bound 1 was better in my opinion. This book was much slower towards the beginning. It started out okay then towards the middle....*snore*. It finally picked back up towards the end. I give it 3.5 stars.

    *SIDE NOTE* So aggravating how literally all books of hers are connected. Why should I have to buy every book to enjoy one with out being confused? Her books are like one huge series. Can a sista get a standalone please? S/o to y'all who can afford to buy all her books cause this broke college kid sure can't lol.

    Not what I expected, this storyline was drawn out and Rita was too childish by way of her game plans, plus there was too much interference with the other characters of the book, even the revealing of Whitney's foolish planned plot was all messed up by the way Blue wrote it, why did it have to be told by third persons and not weaved into the story line by lined, it would of been more captivating if I could of read it as it was happening by line to lined then told, it just sounded so childish and fake, who does so much chatting/explaining like that. Rita definitely needed to grow up a hell of a lot and I wished she ran from Marcus because she felt they were not going anywhere concerning their relationship instead of her wanting him to chase her across the world, I believe that would of been a more challenging plot. I felt let down and disappointed by this book after reading the first sequel as I had built up a great chemistry between the two in my mind. I had to force myself to read thru from half this book to finish it........
