The book and characters are decently fleshed out but this book is filled with confusion.

The author needs to figure out how to use her past and present tense voice because she gets it mixed up throughout the book.

Some sentences were so confusing I had to re-read them several times. Sometimes I ultimately understood what was trying to be said and other times...not so much.

It was a decent read. Not sure if I'm willing to buy the other books. If the past and present tense confusion continues...I probably won't.

Oh my what a awesome series that I have really enjoyed. They are must reads by this author. I'm a fan. It has strong and brave women. Men who fight for what they consider is theirs. And of course their steamy connections. There are interesting twists in the story lines; which are fast paced, especially this series, but all them is just as good. so happy I have started binging this author. Each one here are all intriguing with suspenseful plots ending in a cliffhanger. Along with their sizzling hot passions it will keep you turning pages until the end. I enjoyed every moment of their relationships these are ones that I didn't put my Kindle down until I finished the story if are like myself you will enjoy it because are definitely excellent romances.
