There is a reason the J. S. Scott is New York Times and USA Today's best selling contemporary and paranormal romance author, and that is because she loves reading romance novels herself. There is no denying that J. S. Scott is very good at what she does. She is one of my favorite authors and I look for her books and know when the new one's are coming out. In "The Billionaire's Touch she takes a curvy, but feisty school teacher with a shocking past, and a billionaire that is incredibly handsome, but has a very troubled past of his own and writes a book that will knock the breath out of you when you read it. There is so many emotions that you feel when reading the book that you just can't quit reading it once you start it. You laugh, cry, want to kill Evan's dad all over again and you want to hire someone to beat the crap out of his mother, and the love you feel as the Sinclair siblings join forces to help Evan and Randi. This happens to be my favorite book of the Sinclair family. I think 5 stars is a pittance of a rating for this book and it deserves much more than just a 5 star rating. A must read for ages 18 and over and a promise you will not be disappointed.

Evan Sinclair is a billionaire with a troubled childhood that leaves him needing control over all situations and needing order in his life. He very rarely was known for doing things on a whim, if he ever did, but he became interested in a mystery correspondent that sounded completely the opposite of him. Yet for some reason this mystery correspondent peaked his interest and amused him at the same time. He also felt that she had the same feelings for him. Then there is his obsession with a sexy school teacher by the name of Randi Tyler in his home town of Amesport, Maine. To Evan she seems to be resilient and shows absolutely no interest in him. He actually has no clue how to get her to let her guard down, or does he?

Miranda Tyler finally has things going her way for once. She has a good job, friends, and she lives in the security of the charming town of Amesport, Maine which is on the coast. An anonymous man sent her a really mean email after she had asked the Sinclair foundation for help to keep the Center open that she volunteered at, then she found out that he wasn't as mean as he first appeared to be and he and they started writing to each other as pen pals. She has never met this man yet she has developed a bond with him. She tried to be Evan Sinclair's friend when she first met him, but there was something unsettling about him. She found the handsome billionaire to be arrogant and rude. She also felt that he thought he had to have everything his way. Amesport is a small town and she tries her best to avoid him, until she literally runs into him and he throws a mind boggling kiss on her that turns her world upside down.

Evan gets information from his sister Chloe during a snow storm that leaves Miranda at Evan's mercy and in his bed. Things start to get hot and heavy between them, but secrets are revealed that could destroy everything that have between each other. Will the secrets destroy the attraction that they have for each other? Or will it destroy all hope for them both?

No spoilers will be revealed and you must read this book to find out all the hot, scorching details.

I enjoyed getting to know Evan Sinclair and Miranda Tyler. Both have played minor roles in the previous books in this series. Though this is a stand alone, I would highly recommend J.S. Scott's entire Billionaire series as you will get a greater depth of the background that has gone into this fantastic story.

In this story I met Evan Sinclair. His troubled childhood has left him requiring order in his life. He keeps to a rigid lifestyle and rarely does anything spontaneous, that is until he receives a letter from a mystery woman from Amesport, Maine. Something about her letter intrigues Evan, like no one has ever before.

Miranda Tyler finally has worked all her life to have a sense of security in her life. After a troubled childhood, she was taken in by a foster family and has her life on track. Though she is suffering from a recent loss, she has the security of friends and a secret pen pal to help get her through. The only thing she doesn't like about her life is her best friend's brother. Though he is undeniably handsome, he is uptight, arrogant and abrasive. No matter what she does, she can't seem to get away from him. The last thing she expects is for one steamy kiss to completely change everything as she knows it.

It can be read as a stand alone book, but if you are keeping up with the series, this ties in strongly to The Billionaire's Christmas (Grady's story). Evan has been to Amesport for all three of his brother's weddings where he was paired with local teacher, Randi, at the weddings. They have a strong sexual attraction, but she finds him to be an arrogant jerk and he thinks she is emotional and irritating....still they can't seem to stop thinking of each other and the sparks that fly when they are together.

Evan Sinclair is the oldest of the Sinclair siblings. He has long since been the responsible member of the family, taking care of the business and watching over his sister and three brothers - if they wanted it or not. Because of this, he has more than his share of control issues and has become a bit of a loaner, even in his own family. As the story progresses we find out more of why Evan is this way.

Randi is a local teacher, kind hearted and caring, she helps the community kids with tutoring after school at the local community center. The book opens at the same time as Emily, the director of the center, is seeking help from Grady, the only Sinclair who lives in Amesport, to save the center's budget after her ex-boyfriend stole funds. Randi is so concerned for her close friend Emily, and the center's budget, that she writes an anonymous letter to the Sinclair Fund (a charity the Sinclair's run) hoping one of the Sinclair siblings, who does not live in town, will see it. Evan does see it, and writes a nasty e-mail back, also anonymously. They strike up a conversation, and over months, actually become friends who can tell each other things that they don't have a person in their daily life to share with. Randi recently lost the last of her family in her Foster Mom's passing. She is going through some hard times and opens up more to her pen pal. He in turn opens up more to her.

Evan is now back in town to see his newborn nephew, David (Hope's son). He runs into Randi (literally) and gives in to their attraction and kisses her. Shortly after that, Evan puts two and two together and figures out Randi is his pen pal - but she still doesn't know. Will they be able to get past their bad impressions of each other and learn to trust? Will that trust handle finding out that their friendship started a long time ago online? Will they set Amesport aflame with how hot they are for each other? Enjoy reading this story to find out!! :)

We are back to Amesport, Maine and the Sinclair family. I thoroughly enjoyed Miranda (Randi) and Evan's story.

Evan is the oldest of the Sinclair. He’s an uptight billionaire and an arrogant cocky jerk. He’s always in control and needs to have is life well organized. We finally learn his story, why he is that way and what he never told his siblings. Evan is complex and so much more than expected. He’s definitely an alpha male, strong, intense and dominant and I loved the possessiveness that he felt over Randi. But most of all he’s a lonely tortured soul who finds love in the most loving and caring woman Miranda. Randi is also a great character, strong, kind, and fierce.

I loved their journey and how they got their well-deserved HEA.

I will never get tired of J.S. Scott’s books and the happiness they bring me. She always manages to write the perfect formula of a great story, amazing characters and steamy-hot sex scenes along the way.

This was book 3 of the series, 4 if you include the novella that started the series. They can be read as standalone stories and so far I have enjoyed each and every one. I prefer to read them in order, that way you get to know the characters more, you get to know those featuring in future books and you get a little extra info on what the characters from past books are doing now.
I loved the gruff, straightforward Evan. He had had a rough start in life that shaped his future. Randi had also had a difficult life. The story is sort of told from 2 angles (I won’t give the plot away). J. S. Scott is so good at pulling her stories together. Always brilliant characters and believable storylines.
I find the books to be the right length for me. Yes there are ups and downs on the way but no unnecessary angst. And always beautiful HEA’s.
Really looking forward to the next book ❤️
