The Callaghan Brothers is a series, but I hold to my promise: no cliffhangers, ever. Each book is a story in itself, and focuses on a different Callaghan brother. You don't need to read book 1 to read book 2. The books are in chronological order, though (i.e., book 2 happens after book 1), so there are references in later releases to things that occurred in earlier books.

      Wow! Another FANTASTIC story by Abbie! This story is about Kane and Rebecca. Their first meeting was definitely under dire circumstances. They saved each other's life. She knew his first name but he didn't know hers. A few months later they meet again at another disaster. Rebecca is a kind hearted soul whereas Kane is called Iceman. Even his brothers were scared of him at times but Rebecca was able to defrost his heart and soul. The time they were separated, they were both miserable plus Rebecca was healing from a beating where she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Loved when they found their way back to each other and actually eloped. So happy that Kane found his soul mate. FANTASTIC job Abbie! I would recommend this book!

      I absolutely loved this story. I knew Kane's story was going to be good, but this was the best, most fantabulous and heartwrenching one by far.

      We met and fell in love with the gruff loaner in Jake and Tarryn's story, but I wasn't sure who could fill the shoes of his croie. Rebecca was perfect. She is sweet and kind but also happy to be a loner with Kane.

      Abbie Sanders you have mad skills. At 75% (a very crucial part) fireworks started going off outside my window. Not right outside my window, but down the street and around the corner, but seriously close. How Abbie managed to do that at that crucial moment was just plain magic. Ok, maybe the circus that had just come to town was really the reason, but literally at a VERY crucial moment fireworks were zinging.

      Another wonderful installment in the Callaghan Brothers series. I felt emotionally attached to the characters and definitely wanted them to get their HEA. Can't wait to read more.

      Ms Zanders, I'm thinking with that little sneaky peak into Aiden's "lifestyle choices" you should definitely consider writing his story...very intriguing.

      This is the fifth book in Abbie Zander's fantastic Callaghan Brothers series. She has penned an absolute winner in this series about 7 Irish brothers, all former Navy SEALs, as they find and fall for their one woman, their croie - heart and soulmate. Along the way, she has given us action, suspense, passion, steam and deep, true love. It's fast become a favorite series for me.

      This book is about the oldest of the Callaghan brothers, Kane, known as The Iceman for his cool, cold detachment, especially during a mission. Kane is the defacto leader of the family, aside from the father, patriarch Jack Callaghan. He always protected his brothers, saving the worst, most horrific assignments related to their covert black ops company for himself, thus saving his brothers the mental trauma and anguish. With 4 of his brothers now married or about to be married, he has scaled back the family operation a bit, as he doesn't want to responsible for one of his brothers not coming home.

      While on a mission, he rescues, and is in turn rescued by, a woman, who, at first glance, he assumes is a nun. She is unlike any woman he has ever encountered. She does not shrink away from his scowl, she does not back down from his harshly delivered instructions to go on without him. She refuses to leave him behind, and she tends to his wounds, goading him to gather his strength and lean on her so they both can get out of there. Once they get to safety, she surprises him by not getting in the vehicle to get to the safety of their base. No, she gets him in the vehicle, turns and runs back into danger to try to help whomever may still be alive. He is furious, but she is already gone.

      Rebecca Harrison, former heiress, has been an aid worker for the last 12 years, traveling to dangerous, poverty stricken places and having left her life as an extremely wealthy debutante long behind. She has seen more than her fair share of horrible, soul-marking things in her travels.       I know I shouldn't! I know it's wrong to pick a favorite, but KANE. How could he not be a favorite?!? The Callaghan men (and Abbie) never fail to deliver but there's just something about the broody, quiet, shows-his-love-through-his-actions-rather-than-words man meeting his person that slays me.

      Kane is the oldest brother of the Callaghan clan who meets, saves and immediately loses (temporarily - Abbie would NOT do that to us!) the intriguing Rebecca while on a mission. He's lucky enough to find her again and the slow-burn friendship to romance they have warms your heart before he mucks it up (insert sigh, men!) and breaks your heart. But don't worry, Abbie delivers on the HEA by providing us with a worthy mate in Rebecca who is also quietly strong and understands her worth enough to survive the heartbreak, an attack (gasp! insert plot twist) and know that if you love someone and let them go, sometimes they come back after doing the work to deserve you and bring some seriously delicious sexy times!

      Fazit:
      Wer Wortwitz, viel Gefühle, Alphamänner und ihre (nicht weniger alpha) Frauen mag, der ist hier wieder bestens aufgehoben. Mittlerweile fühlt man sich bei den Callaghans fast zu Hause, man kennt die Brüder, ihre Frauen, die Kneipe, ihre Leidenschaft… und kommt gerne wieder :-)

      What a great book! I liked Kane's silent, alpha personality and Rebecca's integrity to do what she felt was her destiny. Lots of depth in the characters- we got introduced to the fun sister in laws. I liked that Kane was patient and supportive of Rebecca.

You just had to melt our hearts with kanes story.. all the brothers storyline are amazing and keeps you on your toes, a little flustered under the collar at times. But kanes story is my favourite, shhh don’t tell the other brothers haha, Kane has so much responsibility he takes on his shoulders and I’m so glad he got his happy ever after it took some time for him but boy when he realises there’s no escaping his fate for this woman you can’t help but wish him happiness, he maybe the iceman on the outside but a marshmallow underneath, I wish us woman could find these men In real life, but thank the lord we can escape our reality world for a while and hide away with the Callaghan brothers , Abbie gave plenty of warning on foul language and some scenes are on the steamy side but who cares at least we can decide if we want to read it or not I’m not a huge fan of the graphic storylines in some other authors books but that’s my choice to buy it or not and if you like the stories of the alpha man and strong heroin woman what’s a little steam amongst the pages aye. We’re all adults and we choose to read or not but for me personally you go Abbie sanders another great series, I love to re-read over and over again and can’t believe I miss bits every time and think I didn’t read that but last time? I would love more of the callaghans stories one of the best top 3 series out there in my opinion for 2023 well forever really..!       Another great read I can't fault any of the books in this series. The Callaghan brothers are every girls dream. Kane is so sweet underneath that tough exterior and he has gone through a lot more than his brothers. Every story has kept you on your toes, will they wont they, what danger are they going to be in, are they going to get hurt, this includes the women as well. It's also good that each book updates you on the brothers and their wives and the pregnancies of each of them. Next book is Shane's story can't wait to read it another late night.
