I really liked this one, and I'm glad I read it, despite the title.

Zane was just adorably wonderful, even though I got tired of his moping at the end of the book. I thought his reasoning was okay, but personally I wouldn't have enough patience... but I'm not Zane. All in all, he's a swoonworthy romance hero.

Celeste, I felt, was also wonderful. Shy and awkward, but so kind and soft-hearted and brave and smart, and deep inside also tough and resourceful. I wanted her to just go after her man there at the end, to be a little more pro-active and show some of that spine and determination.

All in all, though, this book left a smile on my face for hours after I finished it.

I'm giving one star extra just because Celeste is good at building and programming computers. Nice to see a tech heroine for once in a non-hacker story.
The romance is unusual for her - see a handsome guy and get pretty much straight in lust. As luck would have it he doesn't have a relationship so they start sleeping together. But a previous relationship of hers will cause problems. The ex-army boyfriend does have a life of his own but is smart enough to know a good woman when he finds one. This novella is a mature romance.
This is an unbiased review.
