    I loved this book! It is different style than what your used to from Abbie but if you love a good paranormal this is your book. The love story was amazing and timeless and the story itself had be turning the pages. Lived the plot twists and surprises! It kept it exciting! The writing was wonderful and I loved the characters. I hope you enjoy Viktor and Gamma as much as I did!

    There’s something to say for a story you start and stay up into the night finishing because you just
    couldn’t put it down.

    The Jewel is the ultimate fated love story. Gemma and Viktor are deeply in love, waiting for Viktor’s father to pass him some lands so they can finally marry and spend their life together happily making babies.

    Unbeknownst to Viktor, Gemma is not only the daughter of a white witch but carries magic herself as well as a very powerful gift. Unfortunately, although Gemma is unaware of her gift and its coveted nature, she’s found out by a vampire and in a desperate attempt to save her beloved, binds herself to him.

    Viktor until then oblivious about the supernatural world, bows to find his love, and sets on a path that will in time change him into the only thing that could help him find the one responsible for kidnapping Gemma. He’ll become a vampire himself.

    Centuries later, neither Gemma nor Viktor remember anything from their mortal life, a byproduct of becoming a vampire, including each other. An encounter puts to the test their love and they’ll have to fight numerous hurdles to even consider a chance at happiness.

    I loved how the story unfolded in layers of suspense and mystery. There’s some really hot sexiness, some laughs, and even some fighting. I immensely enjoyed both Viktor and Gemma, their hearts never wavered even when they couldn’t remember each other. Viktor was all sexy, broody, alpha vampire badness. Gemma had the worst circumstances to work with but work them she did, until the very end. She totally kicked butt and I wanted to fist bump her on more than one occasion.

    The Jewel is an epic love story, it had me hooked from the very first sentence until I finished the last word well into the night. I’m hoping we’ll get some more stories from the characters we’ve met as I’m seeing a lot of sexy-vampire potential here. Definitely a favorite from the author.

    Brought up by her single mother Gemmlyn has never met her father , brought up in a village her only aim is to be allowed to marry Viktor & have his babies but unknown to her there is a darker side to life & it turns up in the shape of a vampire that forces Gemmalyn to chose between Viktors life & leaving with him of her own free will.this At the start book just dips its toes into the secrets that surround Gemmalyn & her parents but what both her & Viktor go through to be together just proves that soul mates will find each other no matter what or who they have to become .
