Catherine Taylor is an erotic romance author living in the South Island of New Zealand. Writing has been a passion for over forty years. In that time she has written plays for the theater and screenplays for short films, which she has gone on to produce and direct. The story captures the excitement. This is a great murder mystery, a thriller, and a hot DD romance filled with plenty of sex. Mairade stands accused of a false assault charge but the risk of this is nothing compared to all of the danger she faces. With all the happiness she has found, she has so much more to lose. The love of her life, James, and she can have so much love, yet they still have much to learn about their relationship. The people they meet and the friendships form through so much trial and tribulation. This trilogy is nothing less than a wild ride through the trials of their love and so much adventure.

Die Liebesgeschichte von Mairead und James ist intensiv, lustig und spannend. Die Handlung ist sehr gut durchdacht. Erst im letzten Teil wird klar, wie all die Fäden zusammenhängen (ich will nicht allzuviel von der Handlung verraten).

Diese drei Bücher gehören zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsbüchern 2014!

A brilliant read. What I liked about this book (and when I think about it, the other two as well), is that there is no unnecessary filler to stretch the book out. It is a good value read where every word counts. There is a lot of sex and discipline but there is also a brilliant storyline that kept me reading until the early hours of the morning.

Books of this genre tend to have an overabundance of sex in them. In the other trilogies I've read, namely Fifty Shades, Crossfire and Crystal Fragments, I did begin to get bored with the sex and just wanted to get on with the story, but for some reason, I never got bored with it in this trilogy.

The author has continued to add new characters to keep the story fresh but she has also ensured that the original characters are still included and built on them. The two main characters have kept true to form but have also grown. I just loved this book and am sorry that the trilogy is now complete. I would love Ms Taylor to write another trilogy of the same standard as this one.
