DONALD D. ALLAN is an award-winning author for the New Druids epic fantasy series. He is best known for his knowledge of just about everything – just ask him, he’ll tell you. He takes being a geek to massively huge geek levels – like level twelve. That’s pretty high. Mostly, he’s an introvert pretending to be an extrovert and so far, he’s fooling everybody. Wine helps.

He loves lying around and planning his next activities, such as yard work, house repairs, cleaning, cooking, etc. He plans a lot, but never really completes it. But planning is everything. He does complete novels though, and that surprises most people. They say “YOU wrote a book?”

Donald lives with his wife Marilyn, son James, daughter Katherine, and dog Woody, in Ottawa, Canada. Yup, he’s Canadian. Respect.

    Book 4 in the New Druids series comprises a lot of wrongs put to rights in the world of Belkin. Will has matured into a dedicated Freamhaigh for his friends and followers. The cancerous evil wrought by Erebus provides an immense challenge for the united magical and non-magical protagonists alike. This novel compiles a number of plots and sub plots that twist and turn positively toward a final ultimatum involving The Lord Protector and the demi God Erebus. The author has done superb work in gathering all the threads of the story and knitting them tightly together in a masterfully crafted conclusion. A Beautifully written novel delivered by a master story teller which catapults the reader into a magical world of Druids versus the followers of the Word against a backdrop of corrupt court politics imbibed with a ravenous and all consuming evil. This is ultimately the best Druid series that I have had the pleasure of reading. It is evident that the author has researched Druidic Lore to a great extent which is very obvious in his writings. Freamhaigh is a novel that will delight and enthral readers of the Fantasy Genre. I was captivated from the start and found it so very difficult to put it down. A masterpiece In the making. I loved every single page. The author gifted me a free copy which I felt richly deserved an honest review.

    The book gets more exciting as it goes on and everything starts coming together ,this is a must read you will not be disappointed Donald D Allan is a great writer he makes it seam like you are there ,part off the plot I cannot wait for the next one.
