Art gallery owner Wynn Watson is on a date, to her surprise though he takes her to an underground poker match and then loses a gamble that offers her to professional poker player Cullen Carmichael aka Playboy.
Wynn has just come out of a long-term relationship and although Cullen is more then easy on the eyes and heavy on the charm, she is reluctant to pursue anything other than friendship with him as to protect her heart.
A bet of their own is made which see’s Wynn jet setting off to Vegas and into Cullen’s world.
Cullen is a risk taker when it comes to money, but all bets are off when it comes to winning Wynn’s heart.
I unfortunately found it too predictable and bland. Perhaps hearing more from Cullen’s point of view may have given me a better connection to him I don’t know I just didn’t feel it.

Loved this one! Couldn't read it fast enough. I think these two might be my favourite characters from this author. Such a great read. Cullen is the quintessential Vegas Poker Player - his nickname Playboy - suits him perfectly. Then he meets Wynn and everything changes. A simple bet becomes so much more. He is EVERYTHING I love in a BBF!! I absolutely loved the writing style in this one. The banter between the characters was hilarious and their chemistry - WOWSA - be sure to have hubs or fresh batteries handy. I binged this story in one session and cannot recommend it enough. Grab it today!

Wynn is gorgeous and heart-broken. She is fresh off a four year relationship that was headed no where. All she has ever dreamed of was her wedding day and having a family. Now it seems like nothing more than a pipe dream.

However, meeting Cullen maybe just what she needs to get over her heart break.

This story was a slow, torturous burn (the best kind) that heated you up. Their attraction was no holds barred! These two just couldn't keep their hands to themselves after they got started.

This author is the master of passion and attraction. You feel all the emotions and the intensity between Wynn and Cullen. It was well-written and sucked me into their world. Cullen was easy to fall in love with and I was pulling for him the whole time. We had chemistry but we also had the sweet! An emotional journey for Wynn. He was worth gambling her heart.

The book is about the story of Cullen Carmichael a gambler, and professional poker player and Wynn Watson that we previously met in the first Manwhore series, who’s getting out of a long-term relationship and has given up on love. Wynn met Cullen while on a date because she decided to live and enjoy her life and living it a little on the edge. I completely fell for them both, while they were falling for each other. I was so captivated by their tale, its uniqueness was so heart felling thanks to the fluidness of Katy Evans’ writing skills, that allowed me to immerse completely in the Vegas and gambling casinos sceneries. Also, it was as magical from beginning to end, as Cullen and Wynn’s chemistry. The pleasure was even better with the presence of the other Manwhore series characters.

Wynn is off men. She's just come out of a relationship that she invested too much time in but it went nowhere. On a date, to an underground card game of all places, she meets Silver Eyes. His perfect looks and laser-sharp focus on her make her feel things that she's never felt before.

Cullen Carmichael is a serious but successful gambler & poker player. He's wanted Wynn from the first moment he saw her. He's infinitely patient, but persuasive and super generous. He makes a bet with Wynn. However, what he doesn't tell her is that he's not just playing a game - he's playing for keeps.

"This man is my ruin. He's my ruin because no other man will ever compare enough to even make the sliding scale."

I adored Wynn and Cullen's story! They had such a sizzling connection. The first half of the story had some seriously sexy kissing foreplay between them. The sexual tension between them was electrifying and compelling. Wynn is so leary of being let down but I loved how she threw caution to the wind and took a walk on the wild side with Cullen. Cullen is cool and collected but Wynn has a real hold on him. She's his lucky charm and his biggest distraction. I loved the dialogue and banter between them - it was flirtatious and provocative. Cullen kept things close to his chest but he was overt with his affection and care of Wynn. I loved how much he liked to spoil her.

The story was told mainly from Wynn's POV but the few chapters that were told from Cullen's POV, were insightful and gave me butterflies. His desire for Wynn was all-consuming; his purpose to make her happy so thrilling. These two together weren't just hot - they were on fire!

Another winner from this wonderful author!

Playboy was a wonderful surprise. I enjoyed Wynn and Cullen. Their chemistry and connection was on point. Especially the flirting between them was exceptional. Being in their presence felt like watching a sensual dance. Cullen was so smooth, secretive and that’s exactly what I liked about him whereas Wynn held on to her opinions about her wants and needs in life. They crashed together and unleashed beautiful and sensual passion. The other characters from the other Manwhore books make appearances too. The gang was back together and gave me what I needed at the moment. An easy to read romance.
