The Stoker Connection Kindle Edition
What if you could prove that the greatest Gothic horror novel of all time was a true story?
Dexter and Morgan meet on their eighteenth birthday. The attraction is instant but confusing. As they deal with coming out, they are bound together by more than first love.
Both keep diaries, and each has the same goal - to prove that Stoker didn't write 'Dracula'. They are convinced that Harker, Van Helsing and the others existed and wrote the novel's journals themselves. If Dex and Morgan can prove it, they will blow the lid off the vampire myth: Dracula existed.
As the two teenagers fall in love, so they fall into an adventure as thrilling as it is dangerous. They are being watched, and someone is willing to kill to stop them from making 'The Stoker Connection.'
The Stoker Connection is an MM Romance treasure hunt thriller. It draws on the original text of 'Dracula', but it is not a story about vampires. It is a story of first love and the power of friendship. Sometimes funny, it is an intriguing and honest account compiled from Dex and Morgan's original diaries.

About the Author
Hi. Jackson was born in 2017 as the penname for me (James) so that I could publish my new gay fiction independently from my other writing work. I was born on the south coast of England during a blizzard, but now like to warm thing up with MM romance novels, gay mysteries and some occasional erotica. In 2007 I was awarded and EGPA award for my erotic short stories, and in 2018 I won a Best Screenplay award for one of my films. I am a diverse writer with thrillers, comedies and horror stories under my James belt, and now romance and mystery under my Jackson belt. At the moment I am concentrating on two genres: older/younger MM romance, and youth mysteries with early 20s main characters and a love story included. I live on a Greek island with my husband. My interests outside of writing and reading are outdoor pursuits, traveling, piano and genealogy. That's probably why my books tend to involve characters who are musicians, writers, mystery-solvers and rock climbers; there's a bit of me in every one.

Did Dracula really exist?
Reviewed in the United States on 20 October 2023Verified Purchase
While waiting publication of a Fall From Grace, the second in the Delamere series, by Jackson Marsh, I began reading another novel the author entitled The Stoker Connection.
As with all of his novels, the author takes us on a journey of mystery, love and adventure. And unlike his Victorian mysteries, the author sets the Stoker connection in modern times.
His use of computers, Internet, cell phones, and GPS enhances the telling of the story.
I particularly liked that the author wrote the story in the form of a journal written by the main characters Dex, Morgan, and Tim. This is reminiscent of the original novel Dracula, by Bram Stoker. Having read Dracula, I found this kept the two stories in line with one another.
The authors way of bringing about the inevitable, male-male union of Dex and Morgan is funny, heartwarming, and well done. Jackson Marsh has a way of making his characters real through humor, love, family, and how they interact with one another.
The idea that Stoker’s novel Dracula was based on a true story taken from the journals of its main characters is what brings Dex and Morgan together, and on a thrilling journey to find the truth. I was caught up with this concept as they were, and was not disappointed in the outcome.
Readers will need to find out for themselves if Dracula really existed, or was it just the imagination of two young men falling in love for the first time.

'Now you can get Dexter to do it for you.'
Reviewed in the United States on 27 November 2018Verified Purchase
This book by author Jackson Marsh is one of those novels that when your are in the midst of reading it you are wondering how someone can have such a creative and imaginative mind to come up with just the premise of the book alone. In THE STOKER CONNECTION two young men, Dexter and Morgan who live 170 miles apart meet quite by chance but soon realize that they both have been on the same quest since they bother were 11 to prove that a famous book written in the 1800's that everyone assumes is a work of fiction is actually based on fact and may involve a member of Britain's Royal Family. They decide to join forces and along for the "ride" are Dexter's [straight] best friend, Tim and Morgan's first boyfriend, Simon. But it is Morgan's mother, "Tor" who literally "steals the show" in the book. She is not only a sex therapist but has a most wicked sense of humor, laugh out loud funny! Mr. Marsh has written THE STOKER CONNECTION in journal form alternating between Morgan and Dexter, easy to follow and very insightful. The slow build up to Morgan and Dexter's romantic relationship was a joy to read and Mr. Marsh gives up readers a lovely epilogue taking place several years later...
