About the Author

E.M. has lived in Alaska most of her life and counts it as her home even though she was born in South West Michigan. She's a Red Wings fan and adores all things hockey. Her house is always full of activity from either her fun-loving truck driver husband, her two daughters that still live at home, her oldest daughter and husband, her three wild dogs and all the extra add-ons that come to hang out or just stop by. Her table is always opened to the stray kids that call her mom, and her middle daughter has usually cooked up something yummy. The family loves to just jump in the car and take the six-hour drive to Fairbanks to visit friends and relatives or the journey south to explore the coastal communities. Currently, E.M. works part-time and writes full time. Trying to spend time with her youngest who is still in high school and wants to be a writer too or her middle daughter that struggles with many medical conditions. This is the first time reading this author, but most certainly not the last! I was hooked from the first chapter. It held my attention and curiosity, it made my mind try to figure out what was going on. It didn’t hurt that my boyfriend is British and when I read Duncan, I heard his voice 😂

Now, have to go get book two, I can’t not know what’s going to happen next! Splendid writing.

An intriguing web of family and friends, killers and coworkers. Two continents and many military and protection angles. I really enjoyed this fast paced romantic mystery. I was constantly guessing and revising my hypotheses. A sniper heroine was a really cool aspect. I really liked learning some things about that profession and the opportunities. This was a steamy romance.

A Suspense-Filled Adventure

This premise of The Sniper's Kiss is instantly intriguing. Who doesn't love a strong heroine who possesses skills to take care of herself and those she loves? I loved Maya Aaron, her confidence, and her bold spirit. I also like Duncan Preston, the hero of the story and the cast of supporting characters included in this book.

The storyline is action-packed and quite suspenseful. The details of sniper/ERT protocol were interesting to read and learn about. The international setting between Washington D.C. and London made for an exciting background to this power-packed book.

This being said, I had very high expectations when reading this novel. While I was interested in finding out how things unraveled and resolved, I had difficulty getting through some plot inconsistencies, the way in which some things were so over-the-top, repetition of wording, dialogue choices, and the sheer length of the book. All things considered, I did not expect to have unresolved plot issues when I finished reading a book containing 45 chapters. I would love to have this story edited more thoroughly so it could streamline into the powerful book it has it has the potential to be.

I will probably read the other stories in this series because I truly liked the characters and their interactions, as well as the subject matter. I found it entertaining and I need to find out how these characters move into the future with each other.

Maya is an kick ass FMC. She is an trained sniper who has drawled two stalkers who threats the ones she loves. Duncan is her best friend brother who is also sniper among other thing. The chemistry between them is incredible. But they will have to work together to protect their family from the mystery people. And they also find love among everything going on. Can their love survive through everything throw their way.

This was a good book and i was so looking forward to Maya being all kick butt, but not onlu was i dissapointed with the ending and to many sex scenes that were exactly alike. Duncan was constantly jealous of any man even looking at Maya and very angry, he also was constantly trying to protect her all the time which is nice but if youve read the discription you will see that she doseent need the constant protection hes pushing on her. I hate jealousy, if he cant trust his best friends or her its rediculous. Jealousy is the quickest way to ruin a relationship. I bought all the books in the series at once, i really hope the sex and jealousy do not continue.

Such a good read. Maya is a fierce and independent female character with skills and heart. Duncan is an ex military man and also Maya's best friend's brother. Maya has some dangerous secrets that she keeps, to keep those around her safe. This book has danger, excitement, and lots of steam. Can't wait for the next story in this series to see what happens and visit the characters again.

The Sniper's Kiss has got the best of both worlds: it's action-packed and sexy! Personally, I especially appreciated the character of Maya for being such a headstrong leading lady who doesn't hesitate to go after what she wants, and I couldn't help falling in love with the character of Ana, since I found her and her story so interesting.
My only issues with the story were mostly with the pacing. Some scenes felt too rushed in my opinion.
But, overall, this author packs a punch and you better get ready!
