I love a pirate story now and then, this one was a terrific tale. We got it all, intrigue, thievery, swashbuckling and romance. Two men, their lives run parallel for years but never that far away or forgotten, one searching for his treasure and the other living on his wiles. An intense but thrilling read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was looking for something different and I found it. Pirates and omegaverse. As always, Giovanna creates wonderful characters. Ashlyn is a complex character, strong but vulnerable, sassy and a trouble magnet. He doesn't believe in love and doesn't understand why omegas let themselves fall under an alpha's influence. Dagger is a ruthless pirate. His only loves are the mistress of the sea and treasure. Fate brings these two together again and again. I love how Dagger, this dangerous pirate, is a marshmallow with Ashlyn. Full of adventure and love. This is a great book.

I'm a sucker for pirate stories in any pairing, but this was my first mpreg pirate one. I loved this feisty omega and his strong alpha. There was a lot of action, chemistry and the attention to historical accuracy was appreciated. The whole story felt real, despite the fantasy elements. Highly recommended!
