I really enjoyed Kick's book, and I'm glad I grabbed it right after finishing Shay's. I thought it was nice to see parts of their stories overlap, and told from different perspectives. I loved getting to dive into who Kick really was a little more.
Her story is great. Super relatable. Hot, sweet, goofy, and just a solid story.

A cautionary tale of non-consent wrapped in a fluffy fleece blanket of first romance. The mother in this series is deeply irritating and her daughters never learn how to have a conversation with her. Fun reading, at times. I wish Jack's voice had come from texts, phone calls and in-person conversations, rather than his own two chapters, which put Kick's story on the back burner. In the end, I like and admire Jack but don't care too much about reading him in the first person. I would have liked to have read a series of Kick's blog posts -- is she snarky, sweet, critical, clever? I'm not sure the ending had to be wrapped up with a perfect satin bow but I may be stepping on religious beliefs/toes.

I really enjoyed the story of Kick and Jack. A young couple who had chemistry from the beginning. I enjoyed Kick discovering how much she deserves love and I enjoyed Jack being the one to love her wholeheartedly! A great story with great characters and an awesome plot.

This was an okay book. I didn’t really like Kick. She was too aggressive at the start and I was a little confused as to why she really wanted. I did like her transformation but I felt the stuff with Nolan, her realisation, came out of the blue to excuse her actions. What happened is never okay, but more framework needed to be laid so it didn’t look so convenient.
I liked Jack. I loved that he was so in touch with his emotions and what he wanted.
He’s the best part of this book. It’s all over the place. I felt like it didn’t really know where it was going, or what it wanted. The time skipping wasn’t great for me either. I would’ve liked to have seen more in those periods.
It says it can be read as a stand-alone, as I did, but I don’t think it’s best read this way. All in all, this isn’t a great book, and not one I would recommend.

Love the Sparks twins and what a cool name Kick Spark is. She is a pretty cool person too though obviously with her own journey to go on and issues to overcome. Loved Jack, he is such a good guy and so wonderful with Kick. Was great to see Shae and a Jett again too as well as all the other fantastic support characters. Well written book with good storyline and rich in-depth characters
