Kathleen Ballantine Watson's fictional tale, "Destination Unknown" existed in her mind well before her fingers made it to the keyboard. For thirteen years the tale unfolded to her children, grandchildren, friends, and family whom all persuaded her to write a book.
"Destination Unknown," is her first novel. This story of time travel, love and the thrill of a serial killer takes place in Forest Lake, MN, a quaint town thirty miles north of Minneapolis in the years 2016 and 1860. A sequel is in the making which includes a great deal of Forest Lake's history of the mid-1800s.
In 1998, she authored a non-fiction book under the name Kathleen Ballantine. On July 23, 2018, "According to His Will," finally got published.
This book of prayers is an exploration of the wealth of God's promises. Over one-hundred scriptures transformed into powerful prayers give the confidence to seek God's will.
Kathleen is the proud mother of four, grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of three. She grew up in Duluth, MN, but currently lives in SW Florida with her retired military husband, Darrell.
Her favorite things to do when not writing are gardening, golfing, oil painting and most of all, family gatherings.
