Writing is my solace. I love diverse types of music and when I get hooked on a group, I'll listen to them and only them for months at a time. Playing their CD on incessantly. 
I learned a few years back, that life is unpredictable and not to take your loved ones for granted, you never know what each day will bring. So, hold tight to your loved ones, tell them you love them, while you have the chance.

    This was my first read with this author S.M.Stryker and I wasn't let down ,when I first read about this book I said this isn't a want ,but a need to read it . Her characters were both bold ,interesting and totally believable , as well as the material she chose to write about .her subject material brought out every emotions inside of myself . Willow her main female character marries a p.o.s. Man James who
    is verbally abusive to his wife every chance he gets . In her heart when she said yes to James it wasn't him she had thought she would be married , but not to James but now that she is she will be the best wife any man could have.what I like most about this story is it's a sweet love story THAT travels over ten years of pain and suffering to meet up again knowing that their love never dies it just took Kaiden longer to realize his mistakes. .. What I didn't like about this book ,was that verbal abuse is still a real problem and we need to put a face to it .

    Willow is a woman that lost her heart a long time ago; she needs to shut those feelings off and move on to the future with another man. Through years of helplessness, hurt, abuse, and abandonment, she finds the strength to move past all that and focus on her newest joy. Things keep getting in the way of her happiness, and when her soon to be ex-husband gets into an accident, her resolve is tested. With her ex-husband, a past love, mom and dad, and the new life just around the corner, she has decisions to be made.
    Kaiden has been absent from most of the last ten years of his family life due to an event that left him angry, hurt, guilty, and devoid of emotions. Worst of all, he abandoned the one person he cared for the most. When he finally sees her again, his life seems to come into focus once more, and he would do anything to be her friend, if not something more. But he knows she is having a rough time right now and doesn't want to push the issue.
    With time Willow and Kaiden become friends again, and when Willow has left an ultimatum by her ex-husband, he knows that only his friendship and love will get them both through this, even if friendship is all Willow want and can handle.
    Read as Willow and Kaiden drift apart only to find their way back to each other years later in this easy, quick read.

    A good story about finding your soulmate. As in the story you might have to deal with some ups and downs but what is meant to be will turn out the right way.

    This is a great short story. Jumps into the details and pulls at your heart strings from the beginning. Basically you have two people that in my opinion are meant for each other but for reasons I won't list here since you should read the book, they are not together. She marries and get pregnant and her husband is just not a nice person. Not who she thought he was or hoped he was. But she goes on a trip and things start to change. For more details read the book. I do recommend it. I think it has just the right amount of everything in it.

    I loved Willow and Kaiden. Their story was awesome. 10 years pass after their weekend together but when something happens and Kaiden shuts himself off from everyone even Willow does he push her away. Can he stop her from being with someone else or will it be too late ?

    This is one amazing short listen. It is a second chance with some angst. Some triggers possible for some.
    I loved everything about this and wish it was a little longer.
