From the Inside Flap

"Do you realize how beautiful you are?" Chay murmured.
Sophie had never felt beautiful, not with Ozzy. The spell Chay had woven around her, shattered and she pulled away.
"Hey." He brought her back to him.
The way his hand tightened a fraction before sliding to her shoulder in a soft caress, she flashed back to a time when the hand on the back of her nape left bruises. "No."
Sophie yanked out of his grip and scooted to the opposite side of the bed. She snatched a pillow from the headboard and wrapped her arms and legs around it, shielding her front. Flimsy armor, but it was all she had.
A slew of emotions crossed his face at her actions. He didn't deserve this, but she was caught in a loop, a spiraling sinkhole she wasn't sure how to climb out of.
He sat up, his movements careful.
"Did I hur--"
"You didn't do anything wrong." She hugged the pillow tighter to her front. "This wasn't wrong. It was exactly what I needed. So, thanks."
"You're welcome," he said in a careful neutral tone, belying the crimson creeping into his eyes.
"This isn't about you, Chay."
He lunged to his feet. Naked, he glared at her. She couldn't stop her gaze from taking a hungry stroll down his lean body. He was beautiful, every inch, defined perfection. Broad shoulders, defined chest, corded arms, an abdomen that doubled as a washboard, and that V muscle pointing the way to his groin.
"Not about me?" He dragged on his pants.
"Well it's not," she snapped, pissed at him in general and pissed he was getting dressed.
He yanked on his shirt. "You think this was a mistake?"
How could she think that when her body hummed with satisfaction? "Do you think it was a mistake?"
He paused. She couldn't meet his gaze, didn't want to hear, much less see his answer all over his face. His hesitation was more than enough. The bed shifting under his weight startled her. She froze as he crawled across the king-sized bed toward her. He took his time, probably giving her an escape window she considered using. A quick roll to the left and she'd be off the bed and in the safety of the bathroom.
As if a bathroom door can keep him away from me. She stayed put and studied his prowling gait. He stalked her like a big cat and shit, it was erotic. Her pulse ticked up and didn't stop as he scooted within a foot of her.
"Mistake," he murmured, "The mistake was we stopped."

    I love this series. The spirit realm has always intrigued me. I don't recall how I found this series but I'm so glad I did. I thank God in not forever doomed. This whole Unhallowed crew was a tight knit crew. I really liked Chay and Sophie.

    The only complaint I have about this book is that I finished it one day. Seriously, I was hooked from beginning to end. I love every series by Tmonique and this one is not any different from her usual brilliance.

    This was a great read. Not to give away any spoilers but the main character is a dynamic character. The main character's interaction with others in the story keeps you wanting to keep reading until you get to the end. It is good story line, a good plot, the characters are well developed. It was worth reading.

    This is the first time I have read from among the works of the author and this is the fourth book in the series, and I have to admit I liked her story. It has a very interesting storyline, the character development is great, the plot's pacing is also steady - not too slow to bore you and not too fast that you couldn't catch up with what's happening. I have to say that I will go back to the previous books in this series and read them - I was intrigued.

    I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review this amazing book. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just couldn't get enough of it and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I recommend that you read it.

    This is the fourth book in the UnHallowed series and the first book of Tmonique Stephens, and wow. I was hooked from the beginning the story til the end. I finished it in one day. The characters are good and the story is well written. A wonderful story.

    This was a great paranormal read that kept me captivated. I read it all day long, having to finish it. There was intrigue and I found the plot quite different from most in this genre. I really enjoyed it immensely!

    The book is a good paranormal romance read. The book is the 4th story in the UnHallowed series. The characters are good, strong, and they have good development. The story is well written read with an interesting plot that has a steady pace.
