Torn from her quiet life on Earth, Cam doesn’t expect to end up enslaved to an alien ruler. But even as he trains her to submit to him, she begins to see through her master’s cold facade. While her body learns to surrender, her heart learns to love.
Exiled by his people, Kievan Rus has fought to establish his place in the galaxy. The space station he rules with icy control is the outward symbol of his success and it means everything to him - until a beautiful woman challenges his restraint. Her warmth eases the cold he has felt for so long.
But Kievan has promised a trained human female to a member of the Royal House. If he fails to deliver, everything he has struggled for is in danger, including the lives of everyone on board his station.
Can Kievan abandon everything he has built? And if not, can Cam’s love survive such a brutal betrayal?

About the author

USA Today bestselling author Honey Phillips writes steamy science fiction romance about hot alien warriors and the Earth women they can’t resist. From abductions to invasions, the ride might be rough, but the end always satisfies.
Honey wrote and illustrated her first book at the tender age of five. Her writing has improved since then. Her drawing skills, unfortunately, have not. She loves writing, reading, traveling, cooking, and drinking champagne - not necessarily in that order.

Ike for me at the start, even though she turned willing quickly, it still seemed a little forced.
If I had not read her other series and enjoyed every one, this book would have me putting her in the DNR pile!
The story is well written and Keivan is one tough customer, what gets me is Camilla (Cam)is taken from earth and is in instalove with him right from the getgo. That’s where I have the problem...what’s the odds of the two guys he sent out to grab a female off earth that they grab a submissive willing to be trained without any fighting... if you can get past that and just enjoy the story then it’s well worth it.
I’m gonna read all of the story’s I think I’m interested in the other women and the world building..
I didn’t understand why the heroine was so affectionate and loving towards someone who made her a slave in his harem and told her that they were exclusive only temporarily. Somehow the author made it work, the heroine didn’t come across as weak exactly, just sensitive and loving.
I was also more than a little disappointed in the hero’s actions towards the end, but without it the story wouldn’t have been as good, so I get why it happened.
**spoiler**
Once he had her as his slave he never slept with any of the other women in his harem (thank goodness).

After reading the first two stories in the ‘Treasured by the alien’ series, I wanted to try a book from a different series. The blurb of this book intrigued me so I decided to read it even though it’s the third book in the ‘Alien abduction’ series. (I think it can be read as a standalone book.) This book was a bit different from the other books I have read from this writer but I liked it too.
Let me start by saying that if you don’t like a dominant/submissive story than don’t read this story. Because this is definitely a Dom/sub story.
The main characters are Camellia ‘Cam’ Williams, a human female and alien Kievan Rus, a Sardoran male. Cam is abducted from earth and brought to Kievan. Kievan owns the space station Sigrast and his word is law on the space station. He’s a dominant and controlling ruler but with so many different alien races living and visiting the space station you need to be a tough ruler to maintain order and peace. Unfortunately, Sigrast and the people on it are in danger, someone from the Royal House threatens to take it from Kievan by force unless he extradites a human sex slave to him. That’s the reason for Cam’s abduction but she doesn’t know this. She only knows that she’s now the slave of Kievan, a dominant alien male who rules Sigrast and has a harem with beautiful alien women. From the moment that Kievan sees Cam he’s attracted and intrigued by her. He treats her differently than his other slaves and the more she becomes submissive to him, the more he wants her for his own. Although Cam fights Kievan and the feelings he evokes in her, she can’t deny that her body enjoys the erotic and dominant ways that Kievan controls her body. Slowly she’s falling for him, not knowing that he has to give her away soon. Being an outcast means that Sigrast is the only home that Kievan has, so when the time comes to give Cam up, he does it knowing he breaks her heart but soon after he realizes that her heart wasn’t the only one broken in the process. So now he must find a way not only to set her free her but also to mend her broken heart and make her love him again. Can he do that and also save Sigrast? Kievan has no choice, he has to try.
I liked both character, although it took me some time to understand and like Kievan. He was very controlling, arrogant and dominant but he was never cruel, at least never towards Cam. Yes, he was a harsh ruler but that was also necessary to keep control of Sigrast. There were many opponents who wanted to take Sigrast away from him. I liked how the relationship between Cam and Kievan developed, both were lonely. Cam lost her mother, her only family and Kievan was an outcast. But they found something with each other. Cam found that she liked the submissive role and Kievan found he loved Cam’s caring and nurturing side. He loved how she took care of him. And yes, Kievan has a harem but don’t worry, he never cheated on Cam with them. From the beginning, he was fascinated with her. The sex scenes were very steamy and hot. There was chains, spanking and submissive role play. Unlike the aliens in the ‘Treasured by the aliens’ series, Kievan didn’t have a tail but there was a mate theme in the story. The story was told from both POV’s.
The few secondary characters in the story were interesting. I’m sure that some of them will have their own story. You had Kievan’s assistant, the alien females in Kievan’s harem, a few faces from the previous books and other interesting characters in it.
‘Cam and the conqueror’ was a great story. I liked it. It was erotic steamy but it still had a good storyline and it was easy to read, nothing dark. I will definitely read more story of this series and writer.

H. Phillips described a beautiful and very special relationship between two different but very strong characters. The storyline is full of suspense and it was a good read. I highly recommend this book.
