Wanda Luthman has her Masters of Arts in both Mental Health Counseling and Guidance Counseling from Rollins College located in beautiful Winter Park, Florida. She has worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Adjunct Professor, and Hospice Counselor for teens. She's currently a Guidance Counselor at a local High School.

"Franky the Thirsty Flamingo" is a great story to teach kids not to litter. The story is written in rhyme and the pattern works very well. Franky sets out to find something to drink. When he figures out what he wants, is it too late? The fresh water he was looking for has litter in it!
The story is great for teaching kids about teamwork to help keep the world cleaner and litter free.
This would be a great story for kids around ages 4-6.
