I enjoy reading books on psychic phenomena and all things metaphysical. Most of my life I've been fascinated with astral travel, dreams, the ability to see the future, and reincarnation.

I've wanted to write a book since I was a child, it was the first thing I can ever remember saying I wanted to do when I grow up. I love creating worlds in my mind and writing about them. My best days are when my characters decide to have lively conversations. They have developed a habit of giving me their best ideas and plot twists while I'm driving and can't write them down! Little Bits of Karma and Tough Karma can be read as stand alones. For best enjoyment, Dark Karma should be read after Tough Karma. The characters carry over into the following story with the major ones becoming a supporting cast and the previous supporting cast taking front and center to tell their particular story. The characterisation in the book has me rooting for Amber as she blurs the lines between good and evil. Simmons is an exceptional author and I look forward to reading more from her!

I enjoyed this astral travel suspense fantasy—excellent world-building and characters.
We follow the sad and tragic journey of Amber after the loss of her husband, then followed by her baby daughter. Amber wanted to give up. Her long-time friend and cousin Bryce made sure to stand by her in this difficult time.
With the revelation via a DNA test, Amber and Bryce discover they are not blood-related, allowing their blossoming relationship to progress and they become a couple. An old friend named Mike is caught up in his own fantasy, wanting and demanding a relationship only with Amber and abducts her.
With psychic assistance, Amber is saved. A new relationship comes to light, and someone disappears.
Read the book to find out who the new relationship is with and who disappears—worth the read.

OMG! I could not stop turning the pages. I felt so many emotions. I could feel the loss of baby Belle. I immediately was rooting for Amber and Bryce to get together. To have a love like that is every woman’s dream. I also felt the connection between Luke and Nina. Lord help me, I wanted to teleport and use my astral projection to stop that evil Mike. I felt every emotion and pain poor Amber went through. I was hanging on the edge of my seat. Please tell me there’s another book. Awesome! Brilliantly written.

I thoroughly enjoyed this romance with a paranormal twist that follows Bryce and Amber’ journey. Amber has suffered a tragedy and Bryce, as always, is there to offer a comforting shoulder, but soon he hopes to be able to offer more than his friendship. They have waited lifetimes to be together, but something always interfered. Will they be given a chance to find out this time or will they have to wait again for another lifetime?

My heart went out to the main character immediately. The story follows Amber, who is devastated after the death of her husband, followed shortly by the death of her infant daughter, Belle. She is comforted by Bryce, her lifelong friend and 'cousin,' who is worried about her and is afraid to leave her alone. Bryce's relationship with her is very sweet, as he supports her unconditionally. We watch their relationship develop through these hardships and root for them when Amber suddenly finds herself in great danger.
Ms. Simmons wove in many paranormal elements, such as astral traveling, past lives and ESP. The characters explained how these psychic elements work, so I learned something new!
This story got exciting and the relationship between the characters was endearing. Overall, this is a quick, easy read for a little romance fix.
