Five Amazing Stars *

I was thrilled and just so excited to read this brilliant first series, Legends of Love, written by, and read for the first time, Avril Borthiry. This most exciting and romantic time travel fantasy adventure.

When William was growing up he suffered greatly by the tales he had heard. Stories by the outsiders who believed in the spiritual essences of witches of the darker world. Fearing these stories were in fact scary to a younger child.

Carrying around the idea of a lady who he feared his life, she was indeed very old, ugliest women of all. Although when he met this thin women who seemed very beautiful wearing such perfect clothes and wonderful perfect long brown hair. When approached she seemed so kind. Whilst he told her about these stories and for their future.

I adored this most wonderful story. Loving all these most amazing characters involved. I thoroughly enjoyed this true fantasy tale!!

Wow, the story of Lora and Gareth is a very strange twist and turn story of magic, rebirth by time travel and life changing magical events. Her father betrothed her to a man she could not love. Lora was then sent away to a convent because she was caught with Gareth. Lora finds a gold medallion in the wishing that sets her on a crazy journey with an unknownn end, or so it appears. I could not put this book because I had to see what happens next.

I lived in this story while reading. It all feels so real. To be of noble birth and live in a castle tower. Ah, it all sounds so lovely. To have access to a magical wishing well. I wonder what I’d wish for? Great characters and location. Avril gave a wonderful story and the characters outdid themselves in their performances. I love it. I can’t get enough of Avril’s stories. What shall I real of hers next?

If you are looking for a book that has romance, magic, emotion, this book has it all and more. The Wishing Well draws Beth like a magnet, perhaps it's all the stories she's heard about it being a magic wishing well? The story begins with Master William and his love her Beth's mother in another time, but things go very wrong and it is left to Beth to put things right. How can she change the past? This is what she has to do if she is ever to be happy and her father and mother be returned to where it all began. Time travel, changing history, it's all there and smoothly executed. A fantastic read which I highly recommend.

This is one of those books you don't want to put down. Avril writes with such warmth and feeling, it's impossible not to root for her characters.
She transported me into a magical world full of tragedy and romance and made me feel what her characters felt.
