    I love this book! The way that J.S. Scott wrote the characters made them extremely real and relatable. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to be deaf, but Tessa's POV made me really think about it. There were few errors in this book, and I only had a slight problem with one thing: Micah's migraines. As a migraine sufferer, I have some insight into the condition, and people rarely grow out of migraines. They may occasionally get better and more rare with time but they rarely go away completely.And the fact that Micah didn't close the curtains in his room the second he knew he was gonna have a migraine never would have happened if he had suffered migraine before. Then there it's nothing that would keep a migraine sufferer from their rescue meds even if they had to crawl to get them. My final problem was with the description of him writhing on the bed in pain during the attack. Migraine sufferers tend to try to stay completely still during an attack because any slight movement causes indescribable pain to shoot through their head. Granted, everyone's migraines are different so I can't say for sure, but I can tell you from my experience and from the descriptions of fellow migraine sufferers that these three points are under contention with me. Other than that, this book was phenomenal!!! I wasn't certain I was going to enjoy the Sinclair cousins' books as much as the original Sinclair siblings' books, but i think this one was one of my favorite books yet by J.S. Scott, I think because of the characters' struggles with disabilities and migraines. I think my last favorite part of the book was Xander, but mostly because I really can't understand addiction. Plus it hurt to see how much he had changed from the prologue. I hope by the time during his book, he'll be sober so I can enjoy reading about his journey to love. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance with alpha males and seeing females who can totally handle anything their men throw at them, but highly recommend you read the series in order with Hope and Jason's story from The Billionaire's Obsession series, "Billionaire Unmasked" thrown in there too before Dante and Sarah's story.

    This is Micah and Tessa's story and another great book in The Sinclairs Book series - a very sweet and heartwarming story full of the chemistry.

    The characters are great and have relatable issues including the usual misunderstandings and life incidents to overcome before they can find their true happiness.

    Tessa is a former Olympic gold medalist figure skater who has had to deal with many tragedies in her life including the lose of her hearing and then her skating career, which then lead to her fiancé ending things due to her 'disability'. After moving back to Amesport to be with only leaving relative, her brother Liam, she now works in the restaurant they jointly own, among other places and has reconnected with old friends.

    Micah is as well as being a billionaire and one of the richest men in the world, is an extreme-sports and adrenaline junkie, well-known for his daredevil ways. Following Doctor's order Micah returns to Amesport where most of the Sinclair's now reside, in order to rest and distress trying to get this stress levels and migraines under control. Micah first met Tessa at his cousin’s party about a year ago, but after discovering that his fascination and obsession with her isn't going away, starts to give in to temptation. initially telling himself that he just wants to help her overcome her fears and regain her confidence and spark, feeling deepen until they can no longer be denied.

    Tessa has found peace in her silent world, accepting what life has dealt her, but with Micah opening the possibilities of love and happiness once again being an option for her, she agrees to skate in a charity event organised by The Sinclair Fund.

    I absolutely adore these two characters and the struggles they both face in their own worlds.

    Although Micah is a confident and charismatic lead character, he shows his tender side to Tessa and lets her in where others haven't been allowed before. Tessa doesn't allow her deafness to define her and is an incredible person showing Micah how strong and brave she is. Her resilience and determination are to be admired as she battles her fears within her silent world.

    As with the other books in this series, this one is a beautiful love story, which is well-written and focuses on the characters strengths, overcoming their fears and the risks involved in allowing the true power of love into their lives.

    Another great read by J S Scott, and thoroughly recommended.

    I was really looking forward to Micah Sinclair and Tessa Sullivan's book! J.S Scott did a fabulous job with this story..I was glued from page 1 to the end!! I love the way she dealt with the loss of hearing and the way Tessa coped with this loss. Also loved the story line for Xander Sinclair,
    who is dealing with a heavy loss and is dealing with addiction. The way it affects your family member like Micah putting his life on hold to help him!! Now it’s the turn of Micah and Tessa to be bewitched by the power of the stones given by the two little old eccentrics ladies from the small town of Amesport, Maine and to face their destiny. If you have read the previous books in the series, you will be familiar with the Sinclair family. I always enjoy J.S. Scott's books, and this one was no exception. Nothing over the top, just a beautiful and steamy love story involving two amazing and engaging characters.

    Tessa is a former Olympic gold medalist in figure skating from almost a decade ago. Over the course of five or six years, she dealt with so many tragedies in her life, losing her hearing, her fiancé, her skating career, her parents, all in a relatively short period of time, had nearly killed her. Over time, she’d learned to function in a world with no sound, she’d adapted, compensated by learning all of the skills necessary to be functional in a hearing world. She’s now living a simple life, co-owner with her brother Liam of a local restaurant and she’s not anymore the young woman who’d once shined as a rising star.

    « I felt so alone in the world once my parents were gone. I had friends, but there’s a certain isolation you feel when you lose your hearing, a lack of connection that I can’t explain.”

    One day, Tessa receives a letter from the Sinclair Fund Committee requesting her to perform in a reunion of past Olympic medalists but she’s convinced that as a deaf woman she can’t do it and also because she haven’t skated in years. That they didn’t define her, that her deafness didn’t define her as a person. Tessa is also an incredible woman. She’s strong, brave, resilient and determined to become whole again and less vulnerable to the stresses of life.

    This book is a beautiful well-written story about strength, self-acceptance, overcoming fears, dealing with loss, taking risks and most of all about the real power of love. J.S. Scott has hit the nail on the head once again with this heartwarming, steamy and swoon worthy romance involving amazing leads and supporting cast. Keep going Jan, The Sinclair Series keeps getting better and better and I’m now anxiously anticipating Julian and Kristin’s story.

    I am a huge fan of this author and i generally stalk and hungrily devour her books as soon as they are released and this one was no different. I loved the characters and their developmwnt as well as the catch up of other couples and really enjoyed seeing future storylines. This book had very little drama and angst and i enjoyed that aspect. I would highly recommend this to someone who wants a nice romantic read with very little drama.
