Sonnie Wolf is a candy aficionado and a sucker for the actor Charlie Hunnam (see what we did there?). While some friends may think she can be more of an Airhead, Sonnie thinks she rides the line between Smarties and Nerds.

She still considers herself a new author. So, if you are just learning about her, she writes stories about heroes and heroines that are quirky and will may make you giggle while reading. Her characters are much like her and frequently break out in song or bad jokes. Okay, you can Snicker at that, she doesn’t mind.

When she’s not writing she’s sitting in front of the television eating frosting straight out of the can. While she’s the mother to two Junior Mints, she also adds proud wife to one Hot Tamale of a husband to her resume.

Sonnie’s ultimate goal in life, besides writing the great American novel, is to one day find out who Mike & Ike really are.

This was such a sweet & intriguing book. Sonnie Wolf is a new to me author that will definitely be an immediate TBR author. This is a complicated book with a lot of relationships that had to be navigated carefully. Audrey, Trevor and Dereck had a lot of obstacles and issues to work with and around. At points I thought it was going where I did not want it to go but Sonnie really kept he book in the correct direction in my opinion. It has a touch of the forbidden, is really emotional at times and is also steamy. Overall, I was sucked into this story and absolutely loved the ending of this book.

Ok so I'm kinda torn with this book. I want to give it 5 stars because this storyline was epic! I laughed so hard I had tears from the luck this girl had. The characters were amazing and I just loved these people. I read this all in one setting because once I opened it I just couldn't put it down!

However I have to go with 4 stars just because I have so many unanswered question. Yes there was an Amazing HEA but I need more. What happened with Trevor and his wife? What about Sonya and Ben? What was up with the Lyla Audrey's cousin? What's up with Noah and his chick? Yes these are just little questions but assuming this is a standalone novel I really want to know. I didn't really care for how Some characters were introduced but then never heard from again or not until the end. Like Gail for instance and Noah. And let's not forget there was one brother we never even met. How does that happen?

Any who, this book was just plain genius and yeah it was complicated but in an oh so sweet way! I know I'm kinda playing devils advocate bit surely you can see why I'm so torn. Honestly the questions I was wondering about really are insignificant to the storyline but I just feel I need those answers. If you havent read this book you are missing out!

It’s Complicated by Sonnie Wolf is an amazing light read, that will have you wanting to laugh one minute and throw your kindle the next. The characters are well developed. You will love the characters and some you will want to strangle some, but it’s worth the read. I read it in one night because I couldn’t put it down... if you haven’t read this amazing book yet, go grab it. You won’t regret it.
