Received this book last week and binge read it over a couple days. The story really drew me in and I fell in love with the characters and it really brought me back to the struggles we all feel as teens and young adults.
Wonderful story line which had me laughing and ugly crying as well.

Amanda pinpointed life in Mississippi and knows how to illustrate a teenager’s deepest thoughts and fears. Her writing reminds me of listening to a close friend from home. I related and fell in love with these two friends, and could hear the characters’ voices ringing as clear as a Southern Baptist church bell (which Cleo would despise!). This story of true friendship and grief when your only friend isn’t there to hold you through it was beautifully written and resonates deeply with some of my own experiences. I can’t wait for her next book!

I don’t even know where to begin with this book. It was absolutely incredible. The story line draws you in from page one and has you craving more until the final page. The book is incredibly relatable on many levels. It had me reminiscing on wonderful, fun times in school to remembering the sad times and connecting with the loss Cleo felt.
The book is very well written and a great easy read. I highly recommend everyone reads it! Amanda Linton is a great author and I’m eagerly awaiting her next story!

It brought back my own HS memories that I had long since forgotten and with them, a new fondness for who I am as a woman because of those experiences. Linton is one of those authors that draws you in from the first page and makes you feel like a piece of you is missing when you finish the last. I can’t wait to dive into the next world she creates!
