About the author

Tammy Tate was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida but has lived most of her adult life in Texas. Her passion to write began in high school. It follows her everywhere she goes...creating a world where anything is possible. She's been married to the same wonderful man for over thirty years. Her secret to a long marriage? It's easy when you marry your best friend. In her world, Friday night is still date night.
Before she became a full-time author, she was an Executive Secretary, a Computer Consultant/Technician, and a Communications Officer (Police Dispatcher). She doesn't mind a challenge which has allowed her to race a late-model in a women's powder puff race, run barrels and poles in a play-day rodeo and drive an 18-wheeler. Somewhere in between, she and her husband raised three wonderful children. When she's not breathing life into her characters or jotting down ideas for a new book, she and her husband are spending quality time together.
Since she believes reading is the next best thing to writing, she enjoys romance, fantasy, science fiction and thrillers. In December of 2013, she signed her first book contract with a traditional publisher. Her books have made Amazon's Best Seller list and The Homecoming - Bayou Shifters Book One has received the 2017 Readers' Favorite Finalist award in the Romance - Paranormal genre.
Above all, she loves to hear from you…

- Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2023I loved book one of this time travel series which was set in the 1800’s and wasn’t sure if book two would be as good and I must say this series is better than good, excellent writing and these books are so captivating you’ll have a hard time putting them down.
Wish I could give them more than just five ⭐️’s
This series would make an excellent movie for Amazon or Netflix.
There are excellent Native Americans actors that would do justice to these books if someone would turn them into a movie…series.
Tammy Tate is a wonderful writer.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2019I read all three books. I really enjoyed the first one . I started the second one and was so confused. The 1st on ended being reduced from the Apache after they took her captive. The 2nd one started with her running from the Apache but instead of be taken captive she went back to 1997. I wasn't sure what was going on. The 3rd book was good but I felt like the author was flying by the seat of her pants. At one point it was dark out then a few hrs later the sun was just starting to set and again later the sun was setting. All in the same day. Then at the end when they are in MT. I know it's a book but at least have the facts right. I live in MT and I'm 40 mins from a reservation and 60 mins from another one. It takes away from the story when the author doesn't know what she's writing about. Over all I liked the books but there were plenty of times I questioned the author's writing abilities.
