I am actually disappointed to say this was the very first JS Scott story I didn't like. I didn't enjoy it, the story did not grab me and that is so disheartening after so many wonderful books before it, so many wonderful hours losing myself in her amazing stories and falling in love with her characters time and time again but Entangled just didn't make the grade for me.

The miscommunication was awkward and didn't really feel real...
The DNA test that Maya used to find her family was not brought up when Aiden then did a paternity test later?????? Now that's just weird he knew Maya had found Jade through an ancestry website with DNA but when his paternity test came back negative he flys off the handle saying horrible thins to Skye without even thinking the test was a mistake on the labs part??? the to top it off Skye just buckles forgives him and agrees to marry him when she was so adamant regarding no marriage before... the whole story was weird, disjointed and felt nothing like any of JS Scott's previous books It had no true heart, no warmth of heart.. So yes I am really disappointed.

Aiden & Skye were a couple totally besotted with one another , Aiden was a fisherman who used to go on long fishing trips & Skye who was the best friend of his sister Jade & was a few years younger than him had just graduated . The couple were inseparable when Aiden announces that he’s to go on one of his long fishing trips , not relishing being apart from her lover Skye understood that he needed the money to support his family . Whilst away Skye discovers she is pregnant with his child , when she tells her mother she not pleased but there again her mother has always been a total fruit loop gives her the option of getting married to someone whose in her church or being thrown out if her home . Unable to contact Aiden Skye really she has no option but marry Marco but before she goes she leaves Aiden a letter which sadly he never gets . Marco turns out to be the Mafia that was using the so called church as a place to traffic people , drug smuggling and other questionable mafia activities . Marco is very much older than Skye but she comes to realise very quickly that he wants nothing to do with her child he just wanted her as a trophy wife , soon though he got bored with her and then he just abuses her in the most horrific way . When she finally gets away ( I won’t say how as it is explained in the book ) , the newly divorced Skye and daughter Maya made their way back home where as her mother had passed away she inherited the cafe owned by her mother . Skye tries her best to avoid Aiden but then their paths have to cross once more when Skye & Maya are to be in Jades wedding . A lot has changed in the Sinclair family whilst she was away , Aiden and his family’s fortunes have changed dramatically they have become billionaires due to their late father, who was a bigamist , not only did they inherit money they also inherited family they didn’t know existed . As Aiden never had the letter that Skye left before she went away there was a lot of resentment not only just on his side but on both sides . After being enlightened they both soon became an item once more, he was overjoyed to learn that he had an adorable daughter and they moved in with him . With all the abuse that Skye endured at the hands of her Ex can these two find their HEA, or will a mistake in a lab end their happiness I think you can guess what happens 😉 😍 . Looking forward now to Seth’s story .

I got frustrated with some of these characters. Nosy siblings. Stubborn love interests. Assumptions made which led to pathsof life that probably wouldn't have happened. However, I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. There is a purpose. We all go down our own path of life to get to where we currently are... These stories give me hope that I could end up becoming my own billionaire instead of pining for a fictitious one. I feel like this series of billionaires is more realistic than the billionaire's obsession series. I was reminded by this story to get my own testing done. It's the not knowing for certain that eats at you.
I already had an inkling Seth is going fall for someone who just as determined as he is... Can't wait to read his story next. Noah's story is going to be a weird one for me... I'll need to mentally change his name since that's my child's name. No mother wants to think of their child's personal and intimate relationship.

Okay I've said enough. I hoped y'all had already read book 1 in this series about Jade. It's refreshing to see how the Sinclairs that grew up with next to nothing are trying to get used to having more money than one could even count. They could feel free to send our way LOL 😆

As personagens são ótimas, assim como é bom entender o que aconteceu entre Skye e Aiden no passado.
Eu subtraí uma estrela pela incongruência da atitude do Aiden em relação ao teste de paternidade, que, em função da pesquisa da Jade e da Maya anteriormente, não teve lógica, bem como a questão toda da família mafiosa, pois seria muito difícil sair incólume daquela situação.
Posso dizer que vale a leitura pelos personagens, sem contar o gancho para acompanhar o que acontecerá com Seth, no próximo livro, mesmo sabendo que a "abraçadora de árvores" seria a aposta da vez.
