Destiny 1: Life Choices Book 1 in Destiny the Series
My Name is Taliyah. I was young and foolish with a crush. I didn’t know that the one night I decided to take things into my own hands, would change the course of my life forever. I knew what I wanted, I wanted Alex, but somehow, I ended up with Victor’s attention instead.
Little did I know I would fall in love with them both. Things weren’t as simple as they seemed anymore. My series of poor choices led me into Victor’s arms and that was where thought I planned to stay.
I had to make a final choice, and I did. However, the Universe stepped in to make my ultimate choice for me. They say you only live once, but does that mean you have to love the same way?

About the authors
Blue Saffire is a woman on a mission to share her words and thoughts with the world. She has found her passion in her pen and steams up the pages with her humor, honesty, love and voice. Blue represents the secret author inside that some of us are too scared to let out.
Blue and her family all enjoy life in the suburbs. However life throws her challenges daily and since her diary is no longer enough she has decided it is time for new outlets for the words she would never say face to face to her friends, family or other moms and definitely not her husband.
So here in lays the thoughts of Blue Saffire, the author, the wife, the mother, and the woman. Enjoy.
Life is about doing what you love and loving what you do, when you do this all things fall into place. Evei Lattimore lives by this truth as a wife, author and entrepreneur. Evei’s books hold a place in her heart that she has decided to share with the world after years of holding them to herself. You will laugh, love and grow with the characters and these books, and when you look deep enough you will find something that will change you and the way you see the world forever. Books are for more than reading and Evei has a passion for giving you a full experience each time you turn a page in her world.
Although Evei has a vast education she finds that it is life experience that makes the best stories and the greater literary experiences. You will have a peek into the mind, heart, and humor of a woman that has seen much, felt much and heard it all. Just like you, she is first and foremost a book lover looking for a great story to get lost in.
Evei is a firm believer that you can’t judge what you don’t know and you never know the while store not even when we live it. There is always the unknown variable. Therefore it is useless to judge but worth to just enjoy all that comes your way as it is a lesson waiting to share your understanding.

This was really good - almost 5 stars. It might not be popular, but I loved Victor and Tali together. I knew that the only way Tali would turn from him to Alex was if Victor was out of the picture, so I wasn't surprised by that. I thought Victor's exit was very well written. I cried at the sadness and wastefulness of it. My heart broke for him, because he was so close to getting everything that he wanted. Tali was immature, but she was young. So were Victor and Alex. Allowances needed to be made. The reason I gave 4 stars was because of the idea that Tali and Victor should not have been together and that Alex was Tali's destiny. I disagree with the author there. I was disappointed by Tali feeling like being with Alex was better. I would have preferred her to feel like it was just different. I think Victor deserved more than to be seen as a mistake. Maybe I'm wrong and just in my feelings - but that's how the ending felt to me. She even made it sound like the sex was better with Alex - but I didn't feel any heat between Tali and Alex. (BTW, Seriously, did we need that crack about Alex not needing Tali to scream his name for everyone to hear?) I thought their relationship was tepid compared to Tali and Victor. Maybe it was because of the lack of build up. By far, most of the book is about Victor. He loomed large, even though he was working most of the time and Tali and Alex were together a lot. Then he's gone and it seems like Tali and Alex wait a while and then everything just falls into place for them and him being gone makes their lives easier. As a Victor fan, that hurt. Also, I would have liked for Tali's mom to have at least appreciated how Victor took care of Tali when she cut Tali off. Victor wasn't a bad man. He loved his family and was generous. Tali was the one time he wasn't selfless. He deserved the happiness he found with Tali. And his memory deserved more respect. Love can come more than once without canceling each other out. I wanted Tali to have enough for them both, even after Victor was gone. That would have been 5 stars.
