    Wow, Ms. O'Donnell's 1st The Psychic Perception book grabbed me & just wouldn't let me go. Psychic Perception has so many twists and turns I was clueless as to who the murder is. The characters of Carrie and Cy had me rooting for them from their first (miserable) date. Carrie is a psychic who helps track down missing people and in doing helps heal the families of people that passed on. I like that her life isn't all sweetness & light. Carrie's ex-husband Steve is sooo slimy I had to cheer after the courtroom farce. I can't wait to see what Carrie, Cy, Darrin and Gloria "see" next. The series is off to a rockin' good start.

    A really good plot idea but it just felt a bit disjointed and unconnected when down on paper. A psychic who sees dead people and how they died. Most of her visions are of a killer who has been active for a while and is getting more brutal with each attack. The main character seems to be a bit removed from the reader -frankly I found it really frustrating.
    A dead girl but her vision has led the mother to finding her body. Although she tries to distance herself from the victim's family the mother is making it hard to do so. Especially as she herself is at a low ebb. Her ex-husband has been granted half of her house and she doesn't know how she will manage to pay him off. Plus her lawyer is making romantic overtures. Visions, brutal murders, someone stalking her, attacks, a teenage boy and a career as an artist. Will she find out where the killer is and who his new apprentice is before the killer comes after her?

I gave it 4 stars because some of the sub-plots did not work for me, and there are several sentences that need to be edited.

    Candy has the ability to write like you can get into the character's head and see through their eyes, almost. She is amazing, and this book shows you how a psychic sees things. As a psychic, I can tell readers of this book, that is is very accurate in that regard. Great story, enjoyed every page. Realistic characters, and you find yourself really wanting Carrie to bulldoze her jerky ex-husband.

    I don't want to do any spoilers as the last review basically did that but this book sucked and sucked psychic butt. I don't undestand how it got 5 stars. It is horrible. The greatest thing about this book was how well designed it was. The story is really all over the place. To write about psychic abilities you must be psychic and if that is what this author thinks she is, she needs to get her head examined. Shaking my head.

    I have to admit books with mystery in them...I tend to shy away from. I'm just not into crime scene/mystery type of reading. So when I had read some reviews saying that's what this book was, I was a little hesitant. However, that changed! This book had a lot of feeling in it and I really like that. This woman can see things and that is how she helps to find the victim. She can also see what has happened to the victim and feel what the victim has gone through. What a horrible thing...yet a good thing in solving cases.

    This book had my attention from the beginning and held it all the way through. The author did an excellent job at pulling me in and keeping me there the entire time. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre. You won't be disappointed.

    I just loved loved loved this book! I listened to the audio book version narrated by Lori Faiella. An enjoyable listen, the narrator was absolutely terrific, very easy to listen to, wonderful characterizations. I hope to hear many more books narrated by her. I'm going to look her up when I finish this review and get everything else she narrates.

    Psychic Perception by Candy O'Donnell was a great story with plenty of twists and turns. Not just the usual formula for this genre, this book was special and memorable.

    Carrie Dowd, the main character, has a gift - being able to see past events with her psychic powers. This gift comes with a terrible price, Carrie mentally enters into the last moments of the victim's life. Yet Carrie offers her gift to frantic families to help them locate lost loves ones they are desperate to find.

    As if this wasn't enough, she is also involved in a contentious divorce with a horrible soon-to-be ex and his new conniving girl friend.

    Fortunately Carrie has a support system, and a suitor, but everything may not be as it seems. Carrie has inner strengths, artistic talent, and a good heart, but will that be enough to get her through the turmoil she is facing? She is under attack but who is bringing this chaos to her life? Great mystery, kept me guessing.
    I was given a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
    Awesome story with vivid descriptions and excellent details. I could see the story and characters unfolding in my mind. Plenty of action and excitement, and some romance in the mix. I hope there is a second book, Candy O'Donnell has come up with a wonderful character. I know that Carrie Dowd will have many more adventures.

    A very attention grabbing story with two parallel tales that are nicely developed in tandem. The author pays great attention to detailed description. The main character, Carrie, while flawed, soon has the reader rooting for her and her psychic powers. The two parallel plots in the book are intertwined nicely and in an unexpected yet satisfying conclusion to this highly entertaining story.
