Tanya Anne Crosby is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than thirty-five novels.     I have seen this author name pop up since some time, so when I found this new release on preorder, I purchased it without thinking.
    I was not aware it was a novella, I have nothing against novella but it is not the best way to discover someone’s work.
    I would have loved a longer read, but if I’m honest, it was a good introduction to Mrs Crosby work.
    I loved this story of two children who rekindle once adult. They have changed, moved but they kept their kid’s love locked inside their heart, never able to forget the other despite life and their status.
    Gabe is a wonderful man, he had to let his first love go to protect his family, which gave him a chance to change his own fate, which put him back on the path of his heart.
    He not once hesitated to help her get free, with a secret hope, but she was what came first.
    Maggie has to comply like any woman to men’s will, but she tries to orb it her way. She never pleased enough her father, as she failed to be a heir. But even in his grave, her father demands!
    I felt like Gabe’s character was more developed, I felt for him. I was sad for Maggie to always be caged, but I do think she could have been a little more worked.
    In all, it was a fun and entertaining short story, but rather expensive for a novella.

    I enjoyed the short but sweet step back in time reading A Perfectly Scandalous Proposal. The characters were interesting and I liked seeing them interact as kids and later as adults. I was completely sucked into the storyline but felt that it was a little too short. I'm not a big fan of buying a book (knowing it's short already) for it to then finish at the 84% mark.

    I think I'm losing my mind. I'm pretty sure the blurb says she advertises in the paper for a husband, and I don't remember that at all. I thought she gave a list of requirements to her solicitor/man of business, for him to find a suitable candidate. Like I said, maybe I skimmed that part.

    A Perfectly Scandalous Proposal was a good introduction to this author's work but calling it "Book 6" is a stretch. This was originally published in an Anthology from what I understand but the author claims to have added on to it.

    If this series was to go on sale, I will definitely consider buying more from the Redeemable Rogues series.

    This is a very enjoyable story of two young friends that are separated, but find each other again. Maggie must marry because of a clause in her father's will, but only wishes for a marriage of convenience. Gabriel, when finding out she is looking for a husband, just wants to help her get what she needs. Their love is undeniable, though, and in the end they get what they both really need. This is a well paced story, with humour and love. Highly recommend.

    ...this one was fun! Reminiscent of a Garwood wedding. I don't tend to laugh out loud at Crosby's works but they almost always leave me smiling happily. Separated devestatingly at the onset of puberty, the reunion of the principals happens delightfully without rancor or regret.
