A Perfect Chance Kindle Edition
Drowning in darkness, Mace struggles to move on from a past filled with sorrow. Anger is a much easier emotion to handle, one he readily embraces. Burying himself in his work and spending his nights with his brotherhood of bikers, Mace is determined to spend his life playing by his own rules.
Plagued by her own guilt, Lena desires nothing more than to break free from her past and to start afresh. But fear and anxiety threaten to keep her hostage, leaving her frustrated and stifled. The last thing she expects is another brooding man to be her possible way out.
While Lena is determined to fight for her future outside of the Deadwood MC, Mace is resolute to avoid any hope of happiness. Together, they have to decide what they're willing to risk for the perfect chance.

About the author

Spending the last few years near the Queensland coast, Becca is rarely out of the sea or off the beach. Dragging her long board with her and her overworked Kindle Fire, Becca enjoys her three addictions: reading, surfing and ogling surfers, one of whom is her husband of ten years.
She can still be found regularly on the beach with her family. Becca tends to leave the surfing to her boys; she's far too busy immersed in her own writing or, of course, with her head still buried in a new read.

Mace is a loner. He loves his family, he loved his job as a cop until it cost him his love, and he loves his friends at the MC where he is an honorary non-patched member. Diesel, the president of the MC, has been his close friend for a long time. He has always respected the man and absolutely followed the rules of dealing with his sister, Lena.
Lena suffered through a major traumatic event a few years ago and is now prone to massive panic attacks is any of her triggers occur. She has her safe zones, and safe people and everyone in her life has been as accommodating and respectful of her as they can. Even still, things sometimes get out of control and things happen. She is determined to get better though and pushes herself to get out of her comfort zone.
Diesel pushes these two (Mace and Lena) together as he believes they can help each other, and he's not wrong. He's seen the way they have acted around each other for years. Mace being ALWAYS respectful of Lena and her rules and Lena making eyes at Mace when he's not watching. What happens when they both step outside of their comfort zones allows them to help each other heal the damaged parts of their souls.
When Mace's past begins to rear its ugly head and a rival MC gang decides to cause problems with Diesel's club, all bets are off and we will find out just how capable Mace and Lena are of taking care of each other.
LOVED IT! There was more grit and darkness to this story than the two previous books. It was done well and the tension was kept at a constant throughout, always waiting for that other shoe to drop, and when it does it is a well-thought out conclusion to the story arc.
