From Alice To Malice (Welcome to Knollville Book 4) Kindle Edition
That was the extent of the missing person's report. It certainly wasn't much to go on, especially since the person who filed the complaint was the one who couldn't be found. Jeff's gut was insistent—there was more to this fairy tale case than met the eye—then again, perhaps it was merely time for a ham sandwich.

C.A. King's From Alice to Malice is another fantastic edition to Welcome to Knollville series. I have read so many of these books now that I already have an investment in the characters and the underlying threat which is steadily gaining momentum in every one of these stand-alone books. I enjoyed Alice and Malice's characters as well as the unfolding events and relationships of Jeff and Miranda as they begin to understand the true scope of their roles. Playful malice, revenge, murder, and discovery will keep you entertained as we join Alice down the rabbit hole, and Malice as she exacts the revenge Alice never could.

The books are imaginative, fun and easy, quick reads. They also raise the slight suggestion there could be a rational explanation for the events in Knollville ... or not.
This case is a clever combination of the Alice in Wonderland story and split personalities. Alice, running from the dire situation her life has become since the death of her father falls into a sinkhole but emerges as Malice who has been living a parallel but slightly different life.
Although the book can be read as a standalone I recommend reading the books in order as there is an ongoing thread to the series.
Great fun. I'm already looking forward to the next instalment.
