    Fantastic! Awesome! Wow! (all too tame for my feelings about this book)

    I know it sounds cliched but I read for the story. I love fantasy, romance, and sci-fi in all forms (except westerns). This story hit's it out of the ballpark, with bases loaded, at the bottom of the 9th, with 2 outs, and the score 9-6 (and I'm not a sports fan).

    These characters are amazing and the author spent the time to let us get to know all of them. She gave us some to love and some to loathe (I had very strong feelings against a certain fire and earth hedonist but thankfully he was redeemed). The story itself brings together different mythologies and intertwines them to perfection. This is a tale of love, loss, duty, sacrifice, redemption, friendships, and more. Even when I wasn't reading this book, the characters and story were on my mind. I really hope that the author continues with this fantastic world she has built, as updates on Edan and Ceri are required ( I need to see them in action using their powers) and several characters will need there own story told (like Xane and Maggie).

    Don't wait, grab this book and start reading!

    Ms. Zanders books are always a guaranteed buy for me. This book ventures into new territory for her, and was well executed. I cannot say that it was my favorite of her books, it is definitely a solid read. The book does get a bit heavy in the middle, but the payoff if there if you read through (Part of me likened it to when I wanted to pitch Sherrilyn Kenyon's Acheron out the window in the middle...not the same type of angst as Archeron, but a heaviness that gives weight to the book). Ceri isn't my favorite heroine (I personally gravitate to a bit more spine...though I don't have to be able to put myself into the heroine); but I did enjoy Edan and he strikes me as more in the "mold" of what we are used to from Ms. Zanders hero's. The ploting is on par with what I expect from an Abbie Zanders books, and the world building leaves me wanting to see where she will go next. All in all, while it may not go immediately onto my "read again" shelf, it is a solid book, good read, and I can't wait to see what she has waiting for readers next.

    I was a little worried I wasn't going to like this one after the first chapter with Teague, but I loved it. Did not see that twist coming! Love a good paranormal read, especially with such a wide array of characters. They each had their own stories and were easy to like, except for Teague, lol. Although I did find myself liking him a bit more towards the end. Cerri and Edan are a great match, so glad things worked out the way it did for them and for Tristan and Dionys. Once I had the time to read this I couldn't put it down. I needed to see how their story would unfold and was hoping Cerri didn't end up with Teague. Overall great book, would definitely recommend and read again. Would love for this to be the first in a series and see more from Nikos, Tristan & Dionys, Derek, Xane, Christophe or even Teague. Even better Seamus and Maggie's story!

    If you are a paranormal fantasy fan and a fan of Abbie Zanders than you've made the right choice. I really enjoyed this story! I will admit it had a bit if a slow start and it took me a moment to connect but the minute I did I was all in! I couldn't out it down. Loved the history weaved into the fairy tale fantasy aspect! I am already thinking ahead hoping she does more in this world! It really was a beautiful story and the story really kept you interested. Great little plot twist that was really fun! I throughly enjoyed this book amd I hope you do as we well!

    This book is unlike any other that I have read, including the PNR/fantasy genre. I love all the work and research that must have go into the writing of this book. It is so well written and thought out that I was held captive. This starts out seeming to be one thing and takes you on quite the ride. I can't say that I could have predicted what was going to happen throughout much of this book. Just when you think you know what is to come, Ms Zanders throws you for a loop and you are left reeling. I am afraid to give any details about the actual story as you could lose some of the thrill of discovering them as you read along. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who love PNR/fantasy and even those who don't. It pulls you in and you forget about the outside world while you get lost in the story Ms Zanders weaves around you.

    A very interesting story that for me was let down by just to many points of view. I really liked Ceri and Edan a lot, I would have liked more of the story from their point of view. The plot twist at the end was something I never seen coming and thought was a great way to gives us reader the ending we were rooting for.

    I loved this book!! Read it pretty much in one sitting because I didn't want to put it down. The way the emotions of the hero and heroine were expressed had me in tears towards the end of the story and that hasn't happened to me for quite a long time. I won't add any spoilers but, if you've read any of Abbie's other books, you'll know there's a HEA but I enjoyed how it was all pulled together. Definitely one I'll be re-reading in the not too distant future.
