Baseball, a curse, and romance! Fun summer read.

This is a novella about superstitions, falling in love, and a baseball team. Well at least one of the team. Rafe is the shortstop for the San Francisco's Strikers. He is in a slump and very superstitious. He has many "routines" before he starts a game but it seems these "routines" aren't working for him anymore. He attends a friend's cookout and there he meets to woman who just might change his luck.

Ashlyn is a friend of the wife of the football player hosting the cookout. She has seen Rafe before at these parities and she hasn't ever approached him. She wants a family and white picket fence and knows he isn't into that so she plays it safe with boring men. That is until she receives one hot kiss from Rafe.

This story was sexy and fun and well I love baseball and romance novels so this was a perfect pairing for me. If anything I wanted more. This is the first book of a three book series and I intend to read the rest.

Game Changer is an entertaining, quick read about a baseball, his rituals & the girl he falls for. Rafe Wilson doesn’t have “superstitions”, he has his routines. When he has a bad day, it’s because he missed a step or wore the wrong shirt. The one everyone on the team wants to avoid is “The Triple Curse”. If one of them falls in love, three will fall & there will be lots of disruptions. Rafe knew there was no way he’d be part of that one! That is, until he meets Ashlyn & kisses her.

Ashlyn has been crushing on Rafe since he started hanging around her friends house. When he kissed her at a picnic there & had a great game the next day, he insisted that kiss was now part of his pre-game routine. She’s determined not to let her heart get anymore involved.

This was a really well written novella. The character development is excellent. I loved that Ashlyn was as knowledgeable about baseball as Rafe was & wasn’t apologetic about it. The hilarious part is that all of the players believe in the curse & the other superstitions. They were ticked off at Rafe for falling & activating it. The chemistry between Rafe & Ashlyn was intense & the scenes were hot! I really enjoyed this one!

routines before every game when they don't work for him ,he tries to figure out what happened . He kisses Ashlyn Daniels a school teacher at his friends barbacue and his game is back . He convinces Ashlyn he needs her to keep his game . This story is full of funny superstitions and triggered love curses . It's a lovely steamy sexy tale with a wonderful happy endings . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

"Game Change" is a fun end to Baseball this summer. A bit different from Lori's recent suspense stories. Rafe Wilson is an ace baseball player. He has a before game routine as most players do. When the routine fails him he is anxious to find the problem. He meets and kisses Ashlyn Daniels one day. The next day he's back to his peak performance. Now he just has to convince Ashlyn to be part of the pregame "show".
I'm a sucker for all things baseball.
A fun, hot, sexy baseball story. It gets you from the first sentence and hangs on to its grip till the end. I recommend this book, a great beach read.
