With fond childhood memories of reading on quiet afternoons, I loved the happily ever after sweet teen romances. As my love of history grew, I quickly plunged into the world of historical romance, my get-away-from-real-life transporter. Avery inherits a southern plantation from her Grammy, only to find that her co-inheritor is a historian bent on donating her ancestral home to Tulane University in exchange for tenure. Together, they discover the story behind the mysterious lantern at the gate, but the ghosts inhabiting the Beaumont House aren’t friendly. Avery and Grant might be in over their heads. You’ll love this scary and entertaining story!
