Really enjoyed this book. Blair and Quinn are kind of awesome. The humor was great. The characters are fleshed out really well. I got the first book about them at a discount, but paid regular for this one. Would love to read more of her work, but she isn’t on ku. Will buy the next one with Bailey and Quinn, when it comes out in the very far future, sigh. The writing is great and have no problem recommending this author.

I tend to read at least a book a day. When I was down I'd read a Romantic Comedy. Then I found RJ Blain and her comedies are now my "go to" for a bad day. I have read her other genres, and she's a wonderful writer no matter what style she's writing in. However, if you're only Interested in laugh out loud comedies only read this series - her series get darker from here and people who give her lower ratings because they wanted to read a comedy but didn't pay attention to the series title make both the author and the rest of her fans very angry. She has stated that she will stop writing the comedy series first if that continues to happen and that will be very sad. But she is totally within her rights because some un-observant individual is negatively effecting her status as an author. And unless you're capable of telling the different nuances of amusement in writing, don't write in your review what you "think" the author was trying to do in your review, then say she failed because it wasn't the "rolling on the floor" type of laughter in this series. If you're that good, write your own book. Be careful how you treat the work of others lest you want your own work to be similarly misinterpreted.

This one starts off as a road trip and it is filled with all sorts of unorthodox situations and amazing characters!

Its fun and although the romance is there the sex stuff is kept off scene. I enjoy how the characters bloom and grow and even though there is a body count it is never uncomfortable.

Do yourself a favour and enjoy this book!

Can't wait for the next instalment of this pair 😁😁😁
