A great installment. The way the history of the three most famous fictional lands in literature are woven together is interesting indeed and Glinda's secret past continues to enthrall.

Disclaimer: I received a free ebook copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is a book I’ve been waiting semi-patiently for since reading the part about Pan’s shadow flying away in the previous book.

When taking fairy tales or books that are loved by many, it can be difficult to follow through and do the stories justice. As with his previous books in this series, the author’s style remained flexible and true throughout. In many ways, it felt as though I was reading one of the classics this was based on.

The story was easy to follow and fast paced. It may have been too fast as I really got into and didn’t want the book to end, but that’s me and not really a complaint. There are so many minor arcs woven into the overall story that adds to the feel and angst of the characters and their quests.

I thought the characters remained true to their original selves as well as what’s been established in this series. Peter Pan was the lovable, yet maintained the smack-him inducing and frustrating mannerisms that made him so popular. While Dorothy and Alice are well done as well, I have a certain love for the Cheshire Cat. He was my favorite in the original stories and movies and continues to intrigue me.

I have to admit, Glinda’s story arc really has me hooked. I’m ashamed to say, but until reading this series, I never really cared for her. Now I’m hooked on her past and what’s in store for her probably more than the others. It’s hard to choose. lol

Not only am I looking forward to the cat’s continued shenanigans, but also how the overall story plays out. There are two segments left to complete Oz, and I can’t wait to see how Neverland is returned and what the fourth section is. With the story set so far, I’m sure it’s going to be worth the wait.

I was sent this book for review and found it to be a great adventure by bringing together numerous classic characters and lands of fantasy for a clever new plot.

I did like the way the author kept true to the personalities, even if from a various of old and familiar tales. Tinker Bell will always be my favourite!

It's not easy to say too much, as I don't give spoilers, however, this is a well written story, although I am not sure what the originators would think - most likely to take the book as a compliment that even in this modern age, their creations can bring pleasure to a whole new audience.

For lovers of fantasy, this is something both different yet familiar, which they should find entertaining and enjoyable.

The Marvellous Neverland of Oz is my favourite book in the Oz-Neverland series so far. I loved the way the book opened. The tone is different than the other books and in a good way. I wasn’t sure what to expect when Neverland and Peter Pan entered the equation. I thought it would be a bit messy but the author makes it work really well. I don’t think I’ve ever read Peter Pan but I’ve seen pretty much all of the movie versions (i.e. Disney’s and Hook). Now I really want to read Peter Pan. I found this book a lot more interesting and the series really starts to shine. I look forward to reading more.
