But, there is a hidden strength - just like in every woman - that will guide her to persevere the unthinkable. A very well written story! I’m looking forward to the next one!

Oh my! Do not be fooled by the gentle, slow beginning to this book.
Katie is about to take you on a roller coaster, the poor woman undergoes things that no one should have to. I wasn't expecting what happened to her, I was curled up comfortably on the sofa and then stuff happens and it really made me sit up.
This is a really well written book, with good interesting characters.
Is there love and a happy ending for Katie? You'll just have to read and find out.

Twisted and dark, Katie’s life is a race against the clock to get away from the madman who’s saved her life but who is also her worst nightmare.

In this Misery-esque story, Katie is a budding business owner. Getting her flowers out into the world is her dream and when she gets a large order for a wedding, she is ecstatic. Getting the order together builds her confidence, and she is happy to finally make the delivery. On the way home, however, her luck changes when she crashes and is taken home by Angus.

With suspense on every page, we see the growing concern of Katie’s loved ones when she doesn’t return as well as the confusing “domestic” life that Angus tries to trick Katie into. The characters were well fleshed out, each with their strengths and weaknesses clearly defined.

Interesting read for fans of dark romance.

The author writes an emotional romance plus a mystery which is not entirely solved until nearly the end. There are Interesting characters who have to deal with the emotional rollercoasters the kidnap has left behind. The romance is as interesting as the mystery which pulls you into the story with twists and turns.
