This is another fun-filled story that Sabrina Clayton wanted to share with her readers when the main character, Samara, has an unexpected accident. She was very afraid to go to the hospital after her injury until her mother calmed her down. She then reminded her to use her imagination and think of the people around her as cartoon animals. She continues to explore her wild and vivid imagination at the hospital while she is being treated for her injuries. Come along and take this journey into this endearing little girl's imaginative world through this charming, poetic little story called My Cartoon Imagination at the Hospital. It is a sequel to Samara's first adventure, My Cartoon Imagination at School, where she first learned this great imagination trick from her mother.

Sabrina is a Veteran of the US Air Force, and she is a dedicated mother of two sons with three young nephews. She hopes that this book will inspire them to never give up on their dreams even if there are roadblocks and setbacks along the way. She also dedicates this book to sick children everywhere who are being treated in hospitals all over the world. "I hope this book helps to relax their minds when they read it while it brings them joy and peace in their spirit during the healing of their bodies. Be strong, little ones!"

Author Sabrina D. Clayton brings her readers into one endearing little girl’s imaginative world through her charming children’s book, My Cartoon Imagination at School. The author has been writing short stories like this one since she was in grade school. Her mother was the first person she heard compare a person to a cartoon character. As a young girl, Sabrina would hear her mother describe how a person would remind her of some random character on the television. Have you ever looked at someone and thought they looked like another person, an animal, or your favorite cartoon character? Clayton invites you to take this journey with Samara and join her fun-filled journey as she explores her vivid imagination in this creative and poetic story!

Sabrina Clayton is a registered nurse with over 14 years of experience in the emergency department with extensive expertise in all facets of nursing. As a medical service specialist, she began her nursing training and career at the Community College of Air Force in the mid-1990s. She served her country for eight years in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and later received her registered nurse license, Bachelor of Science degree in business, and Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. As a veteran and dedicated mother of two sons, Clayton hopes this book will inspire them and children everywhere to follow their dreams and keep their imaginations alive!

I enjoyed coming out to your book signing today. I purchased your first book 3 years ago. My students completed an activity, after listening and giving feedback, then I posted their creative work in my classroom. I am going to read this book to my class Monday and continue encouraging them to use their imaginations. I also teach 2 hospital homebound boys that has cancer. This is the perfect book, it will inspire them to never give up and continue to have determination even if there are setbacks along the way. These two boys are my SUPERHEROES!! Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for our country.

What a sweet book that teaches kids strategies how to cope with their inner fears when they get hurt. I would highly recommend it to pediatric doctors and nurses. My kids read it once through a book club and still remember each detail vividly since it was such a fun book.
